Torchys Tacos

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Torchy's Tacos, and I must say, the experience was exceptional, largely thanks to the outstanding service provided by Robin. From the moment we walked in, Robin greeted us with a warm and friendly smile, setting the tone for a fantastic dining experience. Robin's knowledge of the menu was truly impressive. She took the time to explain the different taco options, highlighting some of her personal favorites and popular choices among regular customers. Her menu recommendations were spot on, and it's clear she takes pride in ensuring every guest has a memorable meal. Not only was Robin knowledgeable about the food, but she was also attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. She checked in on us at just the right moments, and her friendly demeanor made us feel welcome and valued as customers. The food at Torchy's Tacos was delicious, and Robin's exceptional service truly enhanced the overall dining experience. Her attention to detail and genuine passion for ensuring her customers have a great time make her an asset to the restaurant. First time at this location, and probably my last because of the location. I ordered queso, salsa, chips, and two fajitas tacos. Queso was thick and seemed a little on the old side. The chips were good, the ones that were not folded over, most of them were. Salsa and tacos were as expected. Can't review them on service because I had no dealings with anyone because I ordered online and they just placed your food on a shelf.

I have 3 favorite Torchy’s locations: S. Shepherd, Austin (UT campus) and this one, Kingwood. I always get it to go (ordered on the app) so I can’t comment on the service but the food and drinks are always top tier. They never forget anything and my food is always hot when I get it (unlike the Woodlands location which inevitably forgets a meat I paid for or sauces/dressing). While I love the chips and queso, I most often get their delicious Airstream salad with beef and grilled shrimp served with their yummy champagne vinaigrette. They have great frozen margaritas as well.

Very good tacos! Lots of flavor and they are pretty big as well! Gave it one less star because my personal preference I can’t handle heat and one of my tacos was way too hot for me to eat. But overall this is a great taco shop and chain. Definitely recommend. I love their logo and branding on everything as well.

We visited last weekend. This is a really good Torchys! The service was quite slow. We didn't get our chips and salsa until after our food :( The taco of the month is the Raj and it was delicious! The queso was really tasty as well! The street corn has room for improvement. It's very dry and untraditional.
