One of our all time favorite places to eat in Houston. The owner is Catherine and she is working most days. The food is a savory and rich classic Belgium style food that is unlike anything else in the city. We've tried everything on the menu and love it all but often get the mixed veggie plate, the mussels, and the beef stew. Must try the French fries with the mayo they make. Our daughter is obsessed with the spaghetti.

It is just really good, food is very well prepared with a French menu that serves a lot of classic dishes. Of course, the beer is always good. Atmosphere is relax, more like a local bar/café.

My wife and I stoped by Cafe Brussels for lunch on Sunday at around 1pm. We ordered the onion soup, chicken croquettes, cordon bleu, classic Brussels waffle and every single dish was absolutely delicious! The customer service was excellent and the atmosphere buzzing with live music and people have a wonderful time! We will be back time and time again to this beautiful gem!

Cafe Brussels is a quaint, cozy restaurant with lots of Belgian art on the walls. The menu isn't too big nor too small, and the french onion soup was absolutely delicious. French onion soup is one of my favorite foods, I've gotten it at countless restaurants, and this might be the best I've ever had. Make sure to try the caramelized apple crepe, too. It's not as thin as a typical crepe and the crispy caramelized edges are worth fighting over, if you're sharing.

Please stop by this gem of a restaurant and eat your fill! We had onion soup, shrimp croquettes, waffle with chocolate sauce and ice cream, and caramel apple crepe. Everything was divine.

Amazing mussels, shrimp croquettes, French onion soup, the best Belgian fries served with homemade mayonnaise and an array of Chimay and Belgian Beers, been going here for years!

I happened upon this place completely by accident. Didn’t have much time so had to rush the experience but will definitely come back to enjoy more. Got the Spaghetti bolognese and my husband got the chicken Diablo. Both dishes were amazing, so tasty. Want to come back to try the mussels and escargot.

The chicken croquettes were delicious and fresh out of kitchen. The chicken cordon blue was delicious as well as the meatloaf my husband had. The beer was SOOo perfect with our meal. Then a perfect ending with Pistachio ice cream, whipped cream and HOT dark Belgium chocolate!!

What an absolutely incredible gem in the Houston scene. I’ve been coming here for years & it’s only getting better. Food is delicious, service is incredible & the owner comes to every table to check up on you. Can’t say enough good things about this place. Definitely try the mussels- so many flavors to chose & all are delicious.
