Manny's Cafe

Manny's has been fantastic for almost 17 years. He is one of the nicest people ever. The food is always good. I always wished he had more Greek food, as when he does cook it, it is authentic. He has higher standards for his food than any of his customers! Try the gyros. His coffee is always ready.

I love this place. I only get to come here once in a while because I live far. One meeting with Manny, the owner, and immediately he makes you feel like family. Even the way he talks from the kitchen while cooking makes me feel like I'm back in my mother's kitchen. He is the only person on either coast that I trust to give me whatever he's serving that day, no questions asked. I'm writing this review from the car outside his restaurant. My husband and I are in a food comma and need a minute to digest before we can hit the road. God bless Manny and his food!

My wife and I were looking for a place to eat that we haven’t tried in our area. I suggested gyros she agreed. This place is off the charts good. Tried four different items off the menu. All of them were spectacular. The owner turned out to be an amazing man that provided outstanding customer service. We will be back that’s a guarantee.

I just moved back to Copperfield after 32 years living in the Galleria and Downtown areas. Now I have to find a new Gyro place. I have enjoyed and loved a close friends restaurant and Greek food for many year in town but now I am happy to say I found the equivalent at Manny's. I walked into Manny's just to try the gyro sandwich. On walking in I received a warm welcome from Manny and I explained to him my hunt for a new local gyro sandwich place (and Greek food). He was happy to help. As I waited for my sandwich I notice all the photos of happy customers on the wall. I am a big fan of photos of customers at restaurants. A few minutes later Manny walked from behind the counter and handed me my sandwich and thanked me. I was excited to get home and try it. OH, MAN! It was amazing! The meat just melted in my mouth and tzatziki sauce was incredible. You know you ate a great sandwich when the after taste is enjoyable. I found my local Gyro Place. Thank you, Manny.
