I finally had a chance to eat at the original Berryhill location and I absolutely loved it... phenomenal service, atmosphere was freaking amazing and the food was on point... they even did things that my normal Berryhill location didn't do... like wrap my Tamales with 3 corn husk instead of one to keep them fresh and moist for easy reheating. CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK SOON.

Very small inside, however big outside patio and dog friendly. That's a huge plus for me. We went for the fish taco special on Mondays. The fish tacos are huge so start small!! They were yummy!

What a surprise to learn that this is the original Berryhill location! Fish tacos, grilled and original, were absolutely perfect. The staff was friendly and the service was impeccable. It's impossible to beat Berryhill's salsa which is full of fresh vegetables.

This Berryhill has the best 🐠 fish taco in Houston. It's on sale on Monday for $2.25. The original fish taco is the best, it's fried with a light crispy batter. Ask for salsa with it.
I don't recommend the tamales.

A hidden Tex-Mex gem. Handmade, quite delicious, and there was lots of veggie options. Food came out quickly, too. And they have a lot of specials throughout the week. The price was just right!

Great spot for drinks & lite bites. We sat outside. Plenty cool w the fans. Easy to locate. Good parking. Enjoyed our night out during Covid19 Delta surge. Will go back

Always the best fish tacos. I go out of my way to go to one of the Berryhill locations whenever I am in the Houston area. I used to go to the Austin location before a franchisee bought it and then subsequently closed down a year or so later. I love their fish tacos!!!

Friendly staff and clientele. Small bar atmosphere with a few tables inside and also outdoor seating. Love the breakfast tacos served all day. Also, the original fish tacos with black beans and rice is a favorite.

Had Korean taco ,original taco, tempura chimichanga, and fish tacos. Ohh my gosh!!! This food is just AMAZING! Small place with quiet patio seating (dog friendly too!). Happy hour specials. I gotta tell you though you've GOT to try these tacos if you find yourself hungry in downtown Houston.

This is the original, the start of this GREAT RESTAURANT! I have been all over Houston and this place is the ONLY ONE that can make Spinach Enchiladas so delicious. The cheese and sauce works perfect with the spinach. They are already famous for their Fish Tacos. I thought I had pictures to share. So I guess I will have to go back. It's a VERY LITTLE restaurant and has outdoor seating. This is a MUST GO TO EXPERIENCE their greatness.
