Ekko's Greek American Deli

You would never know by looking at this place that they have the best Greek food in town. Not only is the food wonderful the price is reasonable. It doesn't have the atmosphere of Nico Nicos but in my opinion the food is more authentic and doesn't break your bank. I have been to Greece many times I highly recommend this place

Oh wow I can’t believe I haven’t received this place yet, I’ve been here probably a dozen times already, these are the BEST gyros I’ve had in Houston. The pita is soooo soft & fluffy warm, the meet is so flavor & tender, tiziki is perfectly creamy. Yes it’s a gas station, don’t let that fool you, just walk straight to the back & order your food at the counter. There’s seating inside & outside, or just eat in your car which I occasionally do. They’ve even hooked me up with free hummus before, which is also great. Usually stop by when I’m heading on a road trip. Need to go back soon! Prices are also low, great for cheap eats.

Without a doubt, one of the best food deals in Houston. Don't let the fact that it's part of the gas station convenience store faze you one bit. Take a look at the amount of food in pics. The gyro plate is 12.50 - whole bunch of gyro meat freshly sauteed in front of you, very large Greek salad and dressing, hot pita bread, fries and ketchup, and tzatziki sauce. The gyro meat tasted as good as I remember from dives in Chicago. The salad was fresh - no wilted greens here! And steak fries were crispy on the outside and soft inside. Absolute perfection all around. Service was very friendly and quick. There are a few tables and chairs to sit and eat at. What a hidden gem!
