Skeeter's Mesquite Grill

It had been awhile since I had eaten here. I am glad I remembered to take my wife here today. We first ate a this location when it first opened when there was a race car hanging over the tables. The current restaurant is good and the service was fast. My burger was big enough to split into lunch and dinner. My wife had 2 tacos and did the same. The prices were good and not much more than most fast food places.

Everyone in our group can find something they like at Skeeter's. The burgers are yummy. Street tacos and Mexican dishes are Tex-Mex authentic. The bowls and salads are large and delicious. The TV screens are big and display several channels. We can use the backroom if we have an even bigger group. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Remodeled space is bright and clean. Definitely recommend!

Cool location, great interior. Food was delicious and they have an accessible drink fountain for sodas and water cups next to it. Enjoyed the rapid ordering and low wait time in line. Great amount of screens to watch all your favorite games week or weekend. Will be back again! Also has an exterior patio if seating outside is your thing didn't use it myself so no comments on it!

Came here on a Friday night. There was a line but it moved quickly. Food was decent but service was excellent. Plenty of kitchen staff (5-6) to take ensure food was out quickly and efficiently. Alcoholic drink making process is a little inconvenient and inefficient but it works. Management: there was a young blonde lady that was running everything besides the kitchen. We noticed that she was hustling to clean off tables, run food out, restock supplies at the drink station, cleaning up around the restaurant and making the to-go orders. All by HERSELF! Just wanted to give her a shout out and make you aware that you have a star employee. As a local business owner, you should do everything you can to keep her as good employees are hard to find! She is the only reason everything works outside of the kitchen wall. Too bad tips are pooled otherwise it should’ve all went to her!

It has been several years since I’ve been to Skeeter‘s Mesquite Grill in Kingwood Texas. A lot has changed since this was pre-pandemic. One thing that hasn’t changed is the wonderful smell of grilled meat as you approach the front door. They smoke and grill all of their food. The menu is much the same: fajitas, burgers, fries, onion rings and such. They also have maintained two fully functioning margarita machines. However it seems like they’ve gone through a facelift. It seemed like they have grown up. At one time, this place was kid team central. I’m was a favorite hang out for elementary age kids to celebrate after a game - complete with crayon drawings on the walls and various little gaming machines . It was friendly but dark and somewhat had a McDonald’s type feeling. Now the crayon scribblings are gone from the wall. Also I didn’t see the gaming machines. Most importantly, the ceiling, the walls and everything seem to be considerably brighter. Reasonably priced and the television sets are still strategically placed around the open concept building. I highly recommend this place for families, kids, or even adults on a date.
