I live in Dallas, but whenever in Houston this place is A MUST for my family and I. We love their food. From the hush puppies to the garlic bread serve with our delicious meal! Must try!!!

I had the broiled platter which was great! Love the rice and I'm not a big rice fan. Small seating area on the inside. There are some tables outside.

Go get the CRAB CLAWS (crab fingers) they are AAHHHHHMZZZZINNG!! Go see Stephanie!! She took very good of us, with a beautiful attitude in 109 Texas heat. Thank you!!!!

The shrimp basket was very good! Loved the flavor of the batter used, not salty. A nice portion size. Customer service sucked to be honest. The patio waitress was very laissez-faire and had a slight attitude (May be her personality)... Foodservice is customer service, fake it for me atleast! I work foodservice so I know the demands. I will visit again for the food but will ask for another waitress....

After work and I want something different. So, decided to get ne some Seafood specifically Fried Seafood. I came over to Captain Benny's Seafood on 45N & Rankin Rd. The restaurant looks like a Boat with a pool like area around it making it look like it's on the water. The inside has two parts the outside is open to the air so they had propane tower heaters to keep customers warm. The inside has a round bar to drink and eat. After looking over the menu I decided on the Special, 10 fried shrimp, 1/2 a pound of fried Tilapia, Fries, Hushpuppies and Garlic bread all for $21.99. It was served Hot n Fresh. My server would continuously as if I needed more drink or anything else. I will be back.

Visited for the first time. Food was 5 ⭐️ but the service could use some improvement. We ordered the jalapeño boudin balls, chicken and sausage gumbo (which was AMAZING) and the broiled catfish with crab stuffing. I also recommend the Upgrading your beer to a Michelada! The mix is so tasty!!! Will definitely visit again, the food was definitely worth the wait!
