Chavez Mexican Cuisine

This had to be some of the best Mexican food we had. The food was so fresh, so vibrant and presented wonderfully! We all had something different (4 adults and 2 kids) and it was all amazing. We also had a Mangonada Margarita and that thing was YUM!!!!! We are not from the area and I’m definitely going to miss not being able to grab some food here.

Service and food were great. We are new to the area and are on the look out for good Mexican food, we found one! The choices are numerous and tasty! Portions are good sized and flavourful. Not too spicy for those who want to taste the food they are eating. First time eating a fried, stuffed avocado! My wife found it extremely Yummy. I had the El Juanito Well worth the visit. We will be returning to sample more of the menu

10 stars!! I don't eat much Mexican food bc im always disappointed. Not tonight. The service and food were on point. Place is marked as a favorite now. My teenager doesn't eat alot in one sitting but her massive burrito was devoured. She took home maybe a 1/4! And that delicious creamy sauce on the platos de carnita to die for!

The food is amazing and severed in large proportions. The general manager Juan does an outstanding job creating a family environment. He personally greets you and engages with conversation. On our second visit he welcomed us by name. The staff provides excellent customer service, as they make several visit asking if we needed refills and making sure we weren't lacking anything. We have made Chavez Mexican Cafe our go to restaurant.

Very good food. Reminds me of how Los Cucos was years ago and many dishes on the menu they don't serve anymore. Great salsa and chips, good service, clean, and tasty food. Pollo Del Mar was excellent and had a good seafood topping and very tender chicken with butter sauce. Not skimpy. Will return.

Chavez Mexican Cafe is a good local restaurant for standard Tex-Mex food. The margaritas were good, but they tasted more like regular margaritas than the mango margaritas we had ordered. The spinach enchiladas were very tasty. The seasoning was just right and the sauce complimented the flavors well. The rice and beans were good. The chips came with a cold avocado sauce and a warm red salsa. We ordered the sopapillas for dessert. The plate came with three sopapillas qnd two churros. The sopapillas were heavier and chewier than I am used to. The dessert came with honey and a large helping of whipped cream, which was a nice surprise. The service was fine and the decor was nice, if uninspired.

Hands down......one of the best Mexican restaurants in my area. Everything on the menu is delicious and fresh but my favorite is the enchiladas verdes with carnitas and their fish/shrimp tacos. And you cannot forget the other very important accessory the Chavez Rita. This place is so good my boyfriend and I come here every Thursday 🥰
