they really came in clutch this morning 11.15.23 i needed to be in and out and they were ready with my meeting catering order before i even came in loved their vibe and super flexible they even listened to my note for pick up :) also got good compliments when it came to quality of the food and cookie 10/10 would recommend.

I'm very seldom at Shepherd and Westheimer, but, when I am, I always stop in at Brown Bag Deli for an egg salad on wheat . So surprised to learn that whole center was torn down. Oh, woe! Now, I learn they have opened a new location at Shepherd and 11th. Yay...even closer to me! Now I can get my fix! Fresh, fabulous sandwiches! ....choose veges, bread and condiments.

Everything they sell here is absolutely tasty. We tried the sandwiches, a cookie, a bag of chips, a soup and the lemonade. Everything was perfect. The price can come as a surprise because they don’t have prices displayed before you pay. Everything is worth the money, but if you are coming here to get a cheap ~$10 lunch then just stick with getting a sandwich and chips only or sandwich & drink only. (The sandwich is more than enough to get full off of.) The workers are also very pleasant. Very neat place!

A far step from your Schlotzskys or other deli spots I’ve tried, the aroma in the air once you walk in you know it’s fresh bread being toasted. The menu was simple but many options on building your own sandwich, and I kept it simple being my first time- wheat bread, ham & turkey, lettuce, tomato, onion and mayo with pickles. The wait time is what you would expect waiting for a hot made to order sandwich, and it was worth the wait. Package to go and set up nicely, the sandwich was an oval shape but the smell of the hot sandwich pulled from the bag I knew it was a great choice to stop for lunch. Delicious, hot and smelled fresh! Tasted fresh also. Would definitely recommend for anyone in the area.

Very solid lunch option for deli style sandwiches and wraps. When you arrive you grab a menu clipboard and customize exactly what you want to order. Similar to the ordering style at Which Wich, but Brown Bag Deli is a local chain so the quality and taste is WAY better. I usually get a spinach wrap with turkey and ham with various toppings. The staff always makes my order to a tee and everyone is super friendly. They offer you water while you wait for to go orders. The vibe is really chill and you’ll get a mix of all types of people stopping in for lunch.
