Jason's Deli

First experience at a Jason’s deli and the staff were very nice and man are they busy! However, it was still nice to see them having fun, and working through the stack of tickets they had. Sandwiches were good, only minus a star due to them giving me an expired bag of chips which is a bit rough. Other than that, it was great!

*Quick update: the managers offered me a free meal due to my previous experience and I ordered the Shelly’s Deli Chicken Sandwich. Much better than the bowl and I appreciate their initiative to make things right. 🙂 Went here for a quick work lunch. I had never been to Jason’s deli and I was excited they had healthy “bowls.” I ordered the modern med bowl with no cheese and pickled onions. It looked good but the moment I took a bite of cold chicken, I instantly regretted my decision. The chicken was not only refrigerator cold but hard and not tasty. The quinoa was unlike any quinoa I’ve ever tried and not in a good way. There was mostly lettuce with the toppings in small portions and the tomatoes were borderline bad. I ate a few bites and had to throw it out. A waste of $13 😔

Have been craving a Reuben for months but living in Mexico they are hard to come by. Took a business trip to Houston and ordered a Reuben to be delivered to our hotel from Jasons Deli and I was not disappointed! Delicious and absolutely packed with corned beef! Really liked it and I don’t like most food I get from restaurants:)

Everything was amazing!! The sandwiches tasted great, and I didn’t hear one bad thing from our staff. I would recommend Jason’s Deli to anyone looking for an affordable and delicious box lunches for their catering events. Communication was great through the whole process, and they were so helpful! Will be using again!

Overall it's really good. If you want something healthy you can get something healthy. They have all the sandwiches. And if you want a different sandwich you can replace things like the bread, meat, etc., or just build your own! Really great customer service! I would definitely recommend to anyone!

I like this Jason's Deli on McKinney in the heart on downtown Houston. They cater mainly to the lunch crowd. The restaurant is open from 7:00 am to 3 pm on weekdays. If you are looking for a ❤ healthy meal this is the place. They have a vegetarian and gluten free menu. The food is good. The service is friendly and prompt.
