Mellow Mushroom Houston

As always Mellow mushroom locations never disappoint. First time at this location. The decorations were great. I'm mainly Vegan most of the time now so finding restaurants I can eat at can be a challenge. I did learn to get dairy free dough I had to order the gluten free crust. Service was quick and staff very friendly.

I'm a huge fan of the brand since I knew them 10 years ago in Columbia SC. For me, easily one of the top 3 pizzas I have ever tasted. Same flavor and quality for Houston, with the advantage that the huge beer selection is mainly locally sourced. Ingredients are top quality and the service is excellent. Wherever you have a chance to grab a piece of Mellow Mushroom pizza you must take it!

This is a family friendly restaurant with a full bar. It's comfortable arriving alone, with a date or with several people. It's spacious and the music and atmosphere is mellow. This place did it right. Service was quick and the ingredients are as fresh as they can get. It's always clean and doesn't feel empty when it's slow. Take out and delivery is available. I'll be sure to bring my crew here. Wednesdays are bingo night.

Came in on a Friday afternoon. The service was fast. I ordered a standard large sausage and pepperoni pizza. Got the pizza in 17 minutes of ordering. The crust was a little too thick for my taste, although they have a thin crust option, I wanted to see what their standard pizza was like. Not enough pizza sauce on it, again something I'm sure could be changed upon request. The pizza was good but it lacks some flavor. The location is super clean though and seems to attract a trendy crowd. Full bar available, I'm sure it gets lit in the evening hours. Definitely worth a try. Paper straws are given not plastic, which I thought was pretty cool. In summary, the service is excellent, the atmosphere is great and trendy, but the pizza isn't much to brag about.

I definitely do like this place a lot. The pizza is pretty good and my wife and I love their gluten free crust, you can’t necessarily tell that it’s gluten free, and that’s the point. Only downside with the gluten free crust is it only comes with a small pizza. The wings were very good, no complaints there. Sometimes they will have kitchen issues, like an order not being sent in, but I don’t blame the wait staff. They’re usually honest and very apologetic when something doesn’t come out on time and may offer some type of compensation in the form of a discount or free item.
