The Seafood Spot

The family and I had dinner the other night and I gotta say. It was dope! No complaints at all. Staff was nice and our server was super cool. I think her name was Gissette. The gumbo was really on point. It had super chunks of everything in it. Definitely getting that again. My seafood super platter (what I call it) was filling...I was stuffed. Wifey enjoyed fish and the boys enjoyed their chicken and burger. Defiantly coming back! Oh and the fried pickles.👍

The Seafood Spot is a nice casual restaurant with wonderful seafood. They have a family Seafood special for $17 that has three pieces of large catfish, three stuffed crabs, six oysters, six large shrimp and six crawfish tails on a bed of very crispy french fries. The fries were the best I've had in a long time. The dinner also comes with hush puppies and a salad or coleslaw. The salad had lettuce, tomatoes, shredded carrots and some of the best salad dressing around. The blue cheese dressing had chunks of blue cheese in it and the balsamic vinegar dressing was tangy but sweet. They also have a grilled seafood platter on top of a bed of rice. The grilled dinner also comes with fish, oysters, shrimp, salad or coleslaw. I highly recommend this restaurant to friends and family.

Great experience and great customer service, such a friendly staff. The food was Incredibly amazing. We ordered 2 Hot Pot’s & extra pound of shrimp and it was perfect, perfect amount of food. Definitely check this place out. 100% recommended. I also felt secured and restaurant implemented social distancing, due to corona virus.

I got the combination fish and shrimp plate, as well as seafood gumbo. The shrimp and fish was delicious! Coleslaw was great as well. I really didn’t care for the fries. I feel like they could use some adjusting. It felt like I was eating all crunch and no potato. The gumbo was very flavorful. I got a medium and it was a good size! Service was quick and on point. I plan on returning.

First time spicey ment spicey! Loved it! My wife taped out and said it was inedible. The atmosphere was nice but the staff was less than stellar. I walked in, was seated but no one ever came to get my order. Fed up I approached the group of employees complaining about not getting enough hours and ordered to go. The crawfish were huge, looked like small lobsters. Loved everything but being ignored. One employee did ask me if I wanted a drink while i was waiting, which was nice, but I had already decided to eat my food elsewhere. I would eat their food, but just not in house.
