Haven’t been to this location in years.
Bought two lunch combos for to-go.
Tasty pinoy cuisine! Friendly service from longtime owner Dino.
Recommended! Thanks will return again

We wanted some comfort food but didn’t have anything specific in mind. After some searching we’ve decided on Filipiniana Restaurant…can’t go wrong with a buffet when we didn’t have any cravings at the time just some good grub to fill our empty stomach.
We got there 5 minutes after opening…the place was empty, we were the 2nd customer that day. The guy behind the counter told us to sit anywhere and help ourselves to the buffet. Not all the food is out yet, but it’s fine because there was enough for round 1. Everything looks delicious so we grabbed a little bit of this and a little bit of that. As we sat in our little booth taking our first bite…both of our eyes lit up and smiled at each other. We devoured our plates in silence while anticipating for round 2 of this deliciousness. By the time we finished round 1, all the other food items are out and piping hot, and the place is packed. Round 2 was just as delicious and comforting as the first. We both commented that we didn’t feel like we were eating at a restaurant….it feels more like eating at a friend’s grandma’s house. The desserts were ok, not great… maybe because we were so full from stuffing our faces with all the yumminess.
We’ve eaten at a lot of buffets but this place is definitely our new favorite. The food was amazing and comforting. The staff was friendly. We’ll definitely be back!

Great restaurant with awesome food. People are very nice. Awesome value. I got to try all the Filipino food, my first time. Food leans a bit on the sweeter side.

The food here is absolutely AMAZING. As a fellow Filipina, this really hit the spot. There Are so many choices of food and everything was delicious. I’m kapampangan, so food is very very important to me. The food buffet was also kept extremely clean.
Unfortunately, the service here was subpar. The servers were constantly on their phones the entire time and were a little cold. Despite this, I would 100% come back and recommend this place to everyone, especially those who have never had Filipino food before. This is a wonderful way to try multiple dishes at once.

You only need to go to the Filipiniana Buffet Restaurant at 9671 Bissonnet if you are truly craving Filipino food. It was absolutely ideal for me to get there yesterday at roughly 11:30 AM. The cuisine was delicious and authentic, and the selection was excellent (from the appetizers to the desserts). I can name all of the foods I like to eat for you, but I won't. It's delicious and filling, and I'm full! This is where you should eat lunch if you are extremely hungry! Highly recommended - Lina will truly look after you, so look after her as well! Check out every image from yesterday.

This would be a good place to go if you want to try Authentic Filipino food. The buffet has a lot of choices. Taste of the food on offer was really good. Reasonably priced. Very friendly service.

I finally tried this place on my fourth visit to Houston. We always drove past it on Bissonnet but I was always wondering if it was good. I took my mother-in-law and her friend for the buffet and they actually had a lot of pinoy food but chopped up in bite sizes and it was alright. I ordered a small lechon belly, fried rice and empanada for my husband's birthday . The lechon was bigger than expected and it was so good that his family loved it! Even the fried rice was so good. We are planning on spending Christmas over there and might order the whole lechon this time.

Had been craving Filipino cooking lately. Specifically my dad's cooking, but sadly, he is no longer with us.
Whenever we were out though, and he wanted a quick lunch of our native foods, he would choose Filipiniana restaurant. The buffet is brimming of freshly made and hot variety of Filipino dishes like pancit palabok, chicken and pork adobo, kare-kare and lechon kawali just to name a few. My mom, husband and I went there during covid time and they had plastic gloves, hand sanitizer and disposable plates and plastic ware as precaution to the virus spreading.
The buffet wasn't at its normal filled food capacity but the dishes they had out was still plentiful and delicious. I would say, I was alarmed that they did not have any of the sweets that's usually on the other side of the hot foods, but when I mentioned it to one of the friendly attendants, she happily offered up that they had a few kinds in the back and promptly brought out some sapin-sapin and bibingka.
Craving was satisfied. The restaurant is clean and welcoming even though the location could be better. I would recommend this place for people who want to try Filipino cooking and also to kababayan coming from out of town.
