Incredibly affordable, home style food! My friend mentioned this place one day and we went out for lunch. I had never had beef pancakes before, it definitely won’t be my last time!

Love this place, one of my favorites ever since my broke college student days. There’s no better value for the price anywhere in the city, in terms of variety, portion size, and overall taste. Been here a bunch of times, never had a bad experience. Today we had the house special noodles (a favorite) and the hot & sour bean curd (which is never tried before) - both delicious!

We've been coming back here for years and they consistently bring out quality, authentic, homecooked Chinese food. Here's a little tip: Order the House Special Noodles and ask em to premix it for you with a little extra toppings. Best thing ever if you like dry noodles. 10/10.

This is my second time here and I was glad I came with my friend after she highly recommended it. For the price that you are paying you are definitely getting your money worth here. You can get a bowl if noddles for like $5. But even If we are just talking about food, it's pretty tasty. I heard from my friend who's from Sichuan that their food is pretty traditional and authentic. I have to say I tried 3 of their noddle dishes, all of them are really good. I have very high standard for the texture of the noodles and they Delivered! The stir fried Chinese cabbage was fresh and crunchy with lots flavor. The only disappointment I had here was the deep friend fish on the pot. Fish was very dry, I barely touched it. Veggies in there wasn't enough or was that tasty and it was like $30. I was bit shock since it's not a cheap fish and they failed. I would go back many time again even just for a casual lunch for their noodles, yum yum!

The food here is affordable and tasty. I always get way too much food when I come here because of the low prices, my favorite problem to have... The complimentary soup is really good, like for complementary soup its really really good. Oh if I could just teleport I would pop in and grab some everyday if I could. Ambiance is very peaceful and I the dining area cozy. I think of this place every time I'm in the area.

Took people's suggestions and tried the kung pao chicken and house noodles. This combined with their offering of 2 complimentary styles of soup (when I went) had me won over. Will come back for sure!

I was in the mood for Chinese food and stumbled upon this place. I was a hitbexared ar first since I never had authentic Chinese food. Their men had pig face meat, and pig ears and cured pig blood. But I got kung pao chicken, spicy dumplings and no regrets. It was delicious !!! My husband had the spicy noodles and ribs and they were also delicious. We had plenty to take home. Great portions.

--- NK Score = 8.0/10 --- 7/10 = Furniture/Ambience 8/10 = Food Quality 8/10 = Service 8/10 = Price (Other Ratings N/A) _____________________________________________ =( BASIC INFO )= - Small Restaurant - Above Average Cheap Food - Variety: Chinese (Rice, Noodles, Snacks) - Prices: Very Cheap ( $4.00 - $8.00 ) - Card Minimum: $15.00 or Above - Meal Includes: Free Soups + Tea _____________________________________________ = Atmosphere = Super casual environment with basic furnitures, though there are some nice decors and wallpaper. The ambience is pretty calm, except during lunch sometimes when it's quite busy. The place is self-serve so you pay at the cashier, get your utensils, drinks, soups, and then return to the table you picked earlier. Overall a decent place to eat, free soups are pretty good too. _____________________________________________ = Food Quality = --- House Special Noodles ($5.29): 4/5 --- Probably the best dish here. It's a giant bowl of noodles with all the essential ingredients for a nice and savory dish. The sauce, meats, and chopped herbs all add to the amazing flavor of this dish, which although a bit oily, is incredibly freakin' delicious. Basically a must have if you come here, but be warned, if you eat it all by yourself you may experience some oily stomach issues. Also, add some Sriracha to spice up the intense flavor of this dish, works really well to be honest. --- Rice Chicken Leg Meat ($5.69): 4/5 --- Really good combination of rice, chicken, vegi-herbs, and some other snacks. The chicken is fairly good, it's crispy and crunchy, and is almost as good as the one at Star Snow Ice. What makes this dish really nice is the many littles sides it comes with, which contribute vastly to the flavors of the dish, nice and savory. --- Cold Noodle Spicy Sauce ($4.49): 4/5 --- Almost didn't wanna mention this dish cause it looks like healthy cucumber/carrot noodles drenched in an extremely oily sesame sauce. Though you can easily adjust the amount of sauce you put in, the flavor of the noodles rely almost completely on the sauce, which is by all means, oily. I still rate this dish 4/5 because it's actually pretty good, or at least I liked it, and it's supremely cheap and filling. _____________________________________________ = Price / Service = Prices are super cheap for most of their dishes, and the portion size is insanely big, only concern is the $15 minimum for Card, which is a huge bummer for most people that don't have ready cash. Service here is generally good. _____________________________________________ Miscellaneous (Other): - Some Noodles Are Oily - $15 Card Minimum - Good for Groups Signed NK (September 2017) Images Below By Jason L (NK)
