The Empanada Company

Last month, I had the pleasure of ordering food at The Empanada Company in Houston, TX. I had been wanting to try this place for a while, and I was excited to finally get the chance. I was immediately impressed by the atmosphere of the restaurant. It was warm and inviting, with a bright and airy feel. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming. I decided to order the beef and chicken pastry as take outs. When I got home and tried them, I was overall pleased with the taste. The pastry was flaky and buttery, and the fillings were flavorful. The beef pastry was especially good. The beef was tender and juicy, and it was seasoned perfectly. The chicken pastry was also good, but it was a bit dry. Overall, I had a decent experience at The Empanada Company. The atmosphere and service were great, and the beef pastry was excellent. The chicken pastry was a bit dry, but it was still enjoyable. I would recommend The Empanada Company to anyone looking for a delicious and convenient meal. The restaurant offers a wide variety of empanadas, both sweet and savory, so there is something for everyone. The staff is also very friendly and helpful, and they are always happy to make recommendations.

Absolutely delicious! I’ve been coming here for almost a year now and it’s never disappointed me! The fillings are delicious and the empanadas themselves are just divine. My favorite is the chicken tinga and I highly recommend it. Other good options are the huevos a la mexicana and holy mole. I will definitely keep coming and i definitely recommend trying this place out if you want some top notch empanadas!

Very delicious. Clean eatery and friendly staff. Had the mushroom, chicken tinga, and pineapple cream cheese empanadas. All were great, but especially the chicken tinga. So flavorful and tender. Husband had the chorizo & potato empanadas and beef pastry. Both very good with a flaky exterior and tasty filling. Will revisit for sure.

I can honestly say, that I have to try another flavor besides the shredded beef, which is AMAZING. I dont do anything that is spicy. So im limited and wanted to try the chicken. But was told it has a little kick. From the customer who was in front of me.. But I have had a few of the desserts. I would definitely recommend this place for you to try. Don't look at the shape of it, but the FLAVOR, and how good it taste. Make sure you get extra, incase you want to share. I ate two back to back. That's how good they are. I will have photos next time I go

So, their empanadas do not look very appealing because they are not very symmetrical nor have the usual shape, BUT that is completely irrelevant to me cause it is all in the flavor! These things taste GOOD! ...and they are generously filled too. I had the Cheese, Ham + Eggs, and Bacon + Eggs. You cannot go wrong with any of these. I owe you the pictures cause I ate them all too!!

Stopped off here for a quick bite for breakfast. Tried their Holy Molé and the Chicken Tinga empanadas. They were both delicious. The dough is flaky and crisp. The Hole Mole is a deliciously flavored Molé that is smokey and well flavored. The chicken tinga is also very tender and wonderfully flavored. They are noticeably fresh and great for an on the go bite. Definitely plan to stop by again.
