I'm glad to share that I've never had a chicken fried steak sandwich/basket since Way back, but I certainly did enjoy that Chicken Fried Steak basket 😋, I devoured it, and I took an Awesome nap 😴, the service was great as well!!!🥰💖🥰💪🏾 And the atmosphere was Nice 🙂

I have been eating there off an on for the past 3 years. I started eating there when I moved into the area at the start of the pandemic. Let me tell you that this place helped me get through some lonely nights, they stayed open during the entire pandemic.
I was so glad because I couldn't really be around those that I loved, so it was good to be able to go and get some good comforting food, along with a good conversation.
My go to meal there was always the BBQ fries, mmm 😋. So tasty! I am getting hungry just thinking about it.
Of course I will definitely recommend them for some good ole BBQ eating.

Everything was great. Food amount was more than generous, a little bit pricey for one portion but ok. Only problem was I could not hear or understand the person at the window he spoke so softly

The resturaunt was really clean. Easy parking. Great variety and really tasty food. We enjoyed the tender brisket with greens and green beans, and the chicken fried steak with fries and gravy, and the fried catfish and shrimp. The staff was friendly.

I just had my very first dining experience at The Hungry Farmer on South Post Oak. With full transparency, my buddy ordered a 3 meat barbecue plate and said it was "good". I was lucky enough to order a turkey plate with green beans and mashed potatoes. It was one of the best turkey dinners I have ever had! This was a Wednesday, and I was told up front that the Turkey Dinner Special is on Saturday & Sunday. While they had turkey, they did not have the stuffing/dressing that they offer on the weekend. It was still fantastic, and I will be going back on the weekend to get the full Special.

All I can say is this baked potato with link sausage, extra cheese, and sour cream was very very good!! I'm eating and typing. Can't wait to try some other items. I'm sold on this Potato though. Please forgive my photo. I had to take a few bites.
