This is the best Mexican bakery in all of Texas. It was the first Mexican bakery in Texas and it's been open for over 55 years! It opened in 1963. Rumer has it the next generation is planing on continuing the tradition of working and owning the bakery. Sadly because of some illness and death in the family it's been temporary closed.I can't wait for this new generation to open the bakery back up it's been far too long! I know some people have been talking about the roaches but it's understandable tell me what house or business doesn't have them? This place is the best when they do reopen I'll be the first to try the bread again!

Taste is great, this old bakery can't keep up with the newest and larger ones on quantity and variety but a definite 10 on authentic taste!!

I've been going here since I was a little girl; my grandmother would bring me and my siblings once or twice a month to buy Mexican sweet bread

This bakery has been around over 40 years. They really take pride in serving the public with the best birthday cakes, sweet bread, white bread and great cupcakes. Sundays after church, Imaculate Heart of Mary) the bakery is full. Simply love their Conchas (shell) bread

This was a bakery that I went 2 when I was a little girl. BREAD is Great as ever.. Sad that it was not as busy as thought it would be. This is a part of neighborhood since 70's and longer. Go back give them your business. Let your grand kids know we have been here as business owners for yrs.. Love your neighborhood..

The Conchas are the best I've ever tasted, especially if you go in the morning when they are still warm😍 So buttery and soft! This place is worth a stop!

Bought a bunch of different breads. My Children's family have live in the neighborhood for decades. And feels so good to visit the same places they have been. I love this bakery and everything is homemade. The owner is so humble and nice. I will be back for sure.😍
