JCI has been in Houston for decades. I used to go to the downtown location as a child and took my children. Their Originals or Cheese Coneys are my favorites. Staff is fast and friendly.

Footlong ChilliCheese combo with tots and extra cheese onions and chilli on the side justttt for two was still the best tasting meal deal in town and the staff was so gracious polite and knowledgeable about everything on the menu!

On multiple occasions, I have placed large orders for hamburgers and hot dogs from JCI. Typically for my kids' birthday parties. I always call the order in a few days before the party.
From call in to pick up, this location's customer service is always top notch! Miguel and his team are very accommodating and communicative, my order is always correct and well packaged, and the partygoers love the food - no matter how much I order there's never any leftovers.

Went for their 100th anniversary. They had their prices set to what it was 100 years ago. As well as the items. It was awesome and amazing how it has been that long. Learning the history of the place and all the awesome people that work there.

They is my guilty pleasure. My cheat day. My greedy girl side. The food is so good. Best Chilli and the onion rings were crispy. This is my first time trying the gourmet dogs. My only complaint is the sweet BUN. Not for me. Otherwise delicious per usual.

The Chicago dog they have is pretty legit. The chili cheese coney is tasty but, having lived in Michigan for many years (the home place of the coney), it definitely isn’t a real coney. Prices are a bit steep too. I tried ordering a Seattle style hotdog but found out they didn’t have it on the menu anymore so that was disappointing.
