This is the BEST place in Houston for real mufuggin everything Mexican food. The people that work there and started this place are one of a kind. I have gone there for years and I'll always prefer this amazing place to go. So generous, so giving....visit here and I promise you won't be disappointed.

If you live in Cypress or JV AND don't know this spot, I feel sorry for you! Place has been here for at least 20+ years. It use to be a lot smaller but it expanded over the years. Anyhow, the menu has also expanded. I went to this place at 1:30 AM and they were fully stocked w everything. (Some places sometimes are out of certain meat or our of Agua fresca) This place also has a nice variety in meats. Everything always seems to be fresh and well cooked. I can't remember a time they messed up my order or that the food was bad. A Cypress legend, Taqueria Ruby! Gracias por tú bien servicio todos estos años.

Authentic, fresh Mexican food served 24/7; it's a great place to know in case you get the munchies late at night. Best prices anywhere. Chickens walking around, but the staff are incredibly sweet and helpful.

AMAZING TACOS AND ENVIRONMENT!!! They are doing everything right over here and leaving now crumbs. I had ordered the lengua tacos and a Agua Fresca I was in love. There are roosters everywhere but I’m here for it. Rustic country vibes~
