Whole Foods Market

My preferred Whole Foods when in Houston. Interestingly, kosher guacamole is available here which is not available at their other nearby location on Kirby. The manager must be doing something right. I almost never have a problem with my preferred items being in stock which is a big draw - nobody likes to go shopping and meet with disappointment over an important item.

Recently renovated on the outside (shiny sign and very white paint) along with a newly paved parking lot. Inside seems more well organized and clean as well. Selection still fantastic and better deals with Amazon Prime discounts. Customer service is excellent too, very helpful and friendly staff. Feels like a brand new store, great job guys!

I was there today and found they had an amazing deal on their strawberries. When I went to the self checkout the system had not yet updated the sale they were having. Their staff member Valeria immediately took care of it. She was also quick, while handling several customers at the same time. It was a really good upbeat experience interacting with her.

Convenient Amazon pickup/return location. I pick up many of my packages here on a regular basis. Great selection of healthy foods. The store staff is overall friendly, attentive and diverse. The store staff has been helpful whenever I am looking for an item. A few of the security guards, on the other hand, are obnoxious and strange. A few months ago, a black male security guard followed me around the store as I shopped. I finally said "Hello, how are you?" to the guy because he was everywhere I turned, and he snapped at me, "I'm fine, you look tired." Um, what? Then today (7/1/23), a different black male security guard followed me around the store as I shopped. I know that this security guard did this of his own accord, without prompting from the store. I believe he did this because I'm a woman of color shopping alone. I think that some of these security guards are predators with badges. They deliberately try to make "certain people" uncomfortable, as if they don't "belong". Aside from these hostile security guards, I like coming here. Maybe these security guards need to be given personality tests before working at the store.

Came here to do an Amazon return. Decided to pick up dinner while I was there. Nice selection. Very clean of course. Quick check out as well. I also loved the Amazon return service. There is a kiosk that you can use yourself kind of like a self checkout or if that's not your forte, there is someone there to help. Great drop off location. No box or anything needed, just walk up with your return QR to the kiosk, scan, bags are provided to put your items in and drop it down the hatch. Painless.

Pretend I am a college student and riding a bike in the campus😂. My car was at the Autoshop but I didn't want to stuck at home so I got my electric bike from the garage and rode to Wholefood. I love spring, the sunshine and breeze except the pollen. Bought lots of gluteen free bread and strongly recommand Wholefoods store brand gluteen free rolls. It's chewy and not dry at all. It has a flavor that closely resembles real bread.
