Small restaurant with authentic mexican food. My favorites are the chilaquiles and the pork tamales, they have really good flavor. Their coffee has chocolate in it which makes it taste so good and sweet ! The waitress was attentive and the prices are very reasonable. I keep coming back.

Excellent for and service. I recently learned about sweet tamales. Tamales made with sweet masa and fruit such as pineapple. The ones I had here were with raisins. Add the coffee and oh boy what a treat!

Mom brought some home and they are so huge and full of flavor! Downside is they charge for extra salsa but overall really great food!

Hidden gem!!! The maza was soft and tasty. The bread on the tortas tasted freshly baked and the puerco plate was delicious!!!! ❤️🔥 totally coming back!!

Great real Mexican food!!! Found Doña Tere's while visiting my brother in Houston and this is now our go to restaurant when we visit. Awesome little slice of Mexico.

I came here based on a friends recommendation and the place did not disappoint. I ordered a combo plate which included a tamale, a fried taco refutes beans and rice (I think). The tamale was made with pork and was fantastic. I’d definitely come back here. Keep up the good work!

The place is okay overall , but the tamales are not fresh , I made tamales before so I know this, I still like the fact that I don't have to go through the struggle to make them and I can just buy them..

The restaurant is literally right next to my neighborhood so when im craving a delicious breakfast (huevo rancheros) I come here. The tamales are great, it's kind of a hit or miss with those. Overall, the food is great, the coffee is awesome and the service is fast... as a matter of fact I'm going there now 😋
