Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

It is what is. Aughhhhhhh…it was great. I forgot to take a look at the price. So their original sandwich isn’t bad, no lettuce; perfect it gets a 92% I don’t wish to give it more. It’s Popeyes. Anyways I must mention I was high when I ordered and high when I ate my sandwich. The chicken itself was great, the pickles were fine; this isn’t a ‘f’kn crabbypaty’. So. It was great. Just don’t order anything from here or Popeyes in general. Waiting for chicken sucks. I know place, but there’s also a wait and I don’t think they have sandwiches so Popeyes gets a passing grade of course.

The location itself is outdated and not suitable for a post COVID world. The customer service was A+++ and it really blew me away. The young lady at the front counter is phenomenal and the manager was hands on and works well with her team. My only complaint falls within the realm of the company itself not investing in this restaurant location to make it more enjoyable for it's massive amount of customers. This was my first visit to this particular location and I'm certain it will be my last and that's not for the lack of customer service or quality of product but again because the location is not suitable for a post COVID environment. One customer damn near sat on my food while attempting to get to his selected dining table.

The size of the meat on the blackened sandwich was very small. It actually only fit on half of the bun. The service was great. The rep was very pleasant and polite. Although the tables and chairs were clean, the floors was very slippery. This turned out to be an okay snack lunch for me and my son; not really raving.

6/13/23 @ 8pm: Updating review to 4 stars!!! Great customer service from the guy in the drive-thru: quick and attentive; and they all seemed to be working as a team as the food was hot and fresh. Most of the time the food/flavor at this location is inconsistent, but today it was delicious and my red beans were not runny-finally! I received all condiments that I asked for and the apple pie was actually in the bag! Original post: Just left Popeyes drive-thru today 12/28 @ 7pm, thank you to the 2 cashiers (inside and in the drive thru) who remained kind and professional when I came inside to let them know one of my items were missing. Unfortunately, I heard remains staff member complaining about my large order in the drive-thru so I knew what to expect when I walked in…and sure enough! the grown woman with 2 pigtails made a rude comment about me as I walked in while rolling her eyes, “Ugh she looks like she coming in for a problem”. I responded to let her know that I heard her and said, “Yes, in fact I do have a problem, my red beans are missing”. Before I left I told the cashier, “Hey just so you know everyone can hear her talking about the customers through the drive-thru’s microphone”. Manager needs to fire her, I could tell that she’s killing the morale with her negative attitude while everyone else is actually doing their job and handling complaints professionally (because addressing customer issues is part of the job). When I got home I realized there were more mistakes with my order, but everyone seems so stressed by this one staff member….seems like they’re walking on eggshells so she won’t get upset.
