Some conflict in the name of this place. Not related to "Popeye's Fried Chicken" that also claims New Orleans, or at least Louisiana roots. This place has changed signage a couple of times in the past few months - evidently over some legal battle. Trust me, this one's better.

It was an excellent experience talking to the young man at the window who recently had a customer on the phone who was really taking him through a whole lot but I thank God for my patience and me and him were able to speak to one another and give each other encouraging words to make both of our day

Free money! Wastire sauce was detected. Like as, the sauce is separate from the powder. I have to declare my taste bud Satisfied.

Expensive.....but it generally is yo eat healthier. Blackened fish grilled shrimp. 1 fish 1 side $11.00. 7 shrimp 1 side $11.00. Great for diet.

Came here for the crawfish I was effie at 1st but left satisfied. Only thing although there BYOB it would have been nice to have a fountain drink station.

I've been three times so far and everything I tried was delicious haven't had anything bad yet and the menu has changed since I've last been too. So they keep it fresh over there.

I found this place for the first time yesterday after getting turned around leaving the Texas Medical Center. The Daiqiris To Go store on the other corner of this small strip center caught my eye and I visited both the daiqiri and the chicken places.
All I bought from Louisiana Famous Fried Chicken was a 10 piece fried shrimp option. It came with a small roll and some remoulade sauce.
Wow! The shrimp were seasoned and cooked perfectly (they tasted fresh and not frozen). The sauce was delicious.
The daiquiri was the bomb, too!
I'm can see I'm gonna have trouble trying to stay away from this shopping center in the future!
