This restaurant is good. We had the shrimp tacos on corn Tortilla, 2 fajita tacos (corn & flour), shrimp enchiladas, and pasta marinera. The shrimp tacos were good. They do use the small shrimp, but it comes with a green sauce that is really good. The fajita tacos were also good. If you only like homemade flour than get corn tortilla. The pasta was good. It had jumbo shrimp and crab fingers. Enchiladas were good, creamy and cheesy. I read the other reviews about the prices, and I feel like the prices are fair. It's not a Taqueria, it's a seafood restaurant with a Latin flair. Expect to pay the same prices as any other commercialized seafood restaurant. Also, our service was great. Our server was attentive and brought just what we asked for. We also ate 3 baskets of chips and weren't charged anything. Salsa and chips are good. They're both served warm. My Family and I will be back.

Had a "real" Mexican breakfast. The food is very authentic and is delicious! Also had a side of guacamole that was very fresh and very good. I always stop here when I am in the neighborhood. Must try!!!

I have food allergies and eating out can be difficult. I love that the people at Chilos go out of their way to take care of me. They accommodate to the best of their ability and seem happy to do so.

I think the reason why a lot of people gave such a harsh rating to this place because they are comparing it to other Mexican restaurants. This place is not bad but it's not what you expect AGAIN compare to other restaurants. Some restaurants I've been to the food was super powering and greasy. The place was clean, the food was good, and not greasy. It tasted just right. I didn't get to ask the owners where they are from because I think their version of Mexican food is somewhere not beside the boarder of Mexico. This would be a nice place to introduce Mexican to people who never tried it before. However, I think what do needs an adjustment the prices but again I'm comparing this to other Mexican restaurants. 9/10 would eat here again to support small business.

I recently caught a cold from a coworker and all I could think about was making some chicken soup, but I just didn’t have the strength. My body aches and my throat hurt. I then remembered the last place I had great chicken soup was from Chilo’s on Beamer. I stopped in and the chef or owner that I had seen before said hello and asked if I was taking to go and I said yes. The young woman ran around the counter to take my order. After I paid I told her that I was going to wait in the car because I didn’t feel good. She said okay. I noticed her bagging up a meal so I assumed it was mine. I started to get out of the car to head back in and she was running it out to me. She didn’t have to do that. It was so sweet of her. To me, that is going above and beyond her normal duties and that warms my soul more than the soup!! And my fiancé loved his molé. He said it was as good as mine so now we know the next time I get sick where we both can get something to go and I don’t have a mess to clean up afterwards. Thank you!!!!

I get the tacos, caldo and breakfast from here regularly. Nice little restaurant. The OJ is yummy! They could use a little more marketing or something to bring in more customers. Food is good so nit sure the issue.
