India Coffee House

Really nice little café. Seats about a dozen people. Lovely staff who is very helpful with menu selection. Just stopped in to take a look around and ended up with a mango lassi and Chom Chom. Both were delicious. There was one customer eating a meal, and he said it was delicious. Towards the end of the day it looks like they start running low on some items.

I haven't been here in a long while, I usually crave the degree coffee and come during the hours they were closed (go figure). I heard there was a change in management? Not much has changed from what I saw recently. The store is narrow and has plenty of tables and chairs, clean, and it's quiet. The degree coffee tastes different this time.. Even as a barista, I could never figure out what it was they did to make it so tasty. I had always shuddered when I saw how the coffee stream from the machine and the milk was beyond scalding. But it was always so delicious! The current coffee had a bite to it - more "coffee" like (or as folks will say, "stronger"). The espresso machine was probably used the way it should.. Milk is still pretty hot but it pairs well with this style of drink. Not sure what is missing from my favorite cup, it's still a decent coffee drink. I also tried something called Haleem, a delicious spicy stew with a wedge of lime to balance out the dish. Absolutely wonderful! I'm glad the young lady suggested it, it's a chilly day and it was perfect. I have yet to try the sweets this time but I'll be back for those when I'm in the area again.

A very nice and clean little place in the heart of Hilcroft. I noticed this place about a month ago and stopped by for breakfast. Asked the lady who works here if she could make a slightly different breakfast that wasn’t on the menu and she kindly agreed instantly and made me a delicious omelette with paratha and coffee. I thought to stop by for lunch again today and found the food delicious as always. They also carry some of the popular Pakistani sweets. One thing I really like about this place is their tea, and no doubt their “tea is fantastic”.
