Why is the community sleeping on this place?! We’ve been 3x in the past month and consistently good food! Look if you’re wanting some fine dining or middle class Tex mex place take yourself to Lupe or whatever, this is for those of us who know great Houston Tex mex and grew up on places like La Hacienda and etc. Come here with an open mind and you’ll get some of the best food. Treat the wait staff kindly and with patience & maybe they can finish up the bathroom construction finally, but that isn’t a deal breaker when the food is seriously this good. Had to come back and add even the chips and salsa are 100. Seriously it’s just good food beginning to end. We always order a version of ceviche to start and we’ve gotten a different menu item each visit. This last time I got the Mexicanna dish on their special menu, the skirt steak is some of the most tender and best flavor I’ve had. My man and I agree it even has the flavor of his mother Menudo, whatever seasoning they use is the right one. DO NOT PASS ON THE FLAN! Look appetizers and meal I know it’s a lot but please just try the flan once, you will not regret it, will NOT regret it. Take a sliver, dip it in the whip cream and send your taste buds to heaven. Houston Tex Mex at its best.
