The Rouxpour - Memorial City Mall

When you first walk in the door you see a sight that says the world is your oyster ! the decor in there was peaceful and calm. They do have a full bar before you make it to your table and or booth. There is a nice outside eating area that is connected to the outside kids play space for the mall. The service was absolutely great! Our waiter was constantly bringing lemons to our table for my oysters lol! And always remembering to refill our glasses.the food that I ordered was a good portion other than the boudin balls i paid 35 dollars for them i paid 34 for a dozen oysters but they have different prices for the different oysters The red snapper was 35 it was apart of a dinner special. Their menu has changed they do not have the oyster royal any more and they also don't have the crab fingers. They also do not serve burgers or any type of sandwich after lunch time. They also dont serve sweet tea. But overall it was a nice experience

Houstons best kept secret! This is where good food meets excellent service. I was referred to this place to try the fried green tomatoes, but to my disappointment it had just been taken off the menu. My server Maria R was a tremendous help with making me feel welcome, navigating the menu, making recommendations, & making sure I had my needs met. As a 1st timer I wanted to try everything, but decided to stick to the Cajun basics. Oysters on a shell the freshest in the city & the best I ever had. Seafood gumbo, stuffed shrimp rouxpour, boudin link, and onion rings were good too. The Blueberry martini was my least favorite due to the lack of a punch but still not bad. I didn’t expect to see the a 15% service charge added outside of the tip. Definitely a place worth experiencing. I’m looking forward to returning.

I absolutely love this location! Ive been to the Katy & Sugar Land location as well but Memorial City is definitely my favorite! The customer service is outstanding, I went last night & it was raining, the manager opened the door for me to get in and greeted me! He even came to check on me during my dinner! The food is superb, & the blueberry martini is always amazing! I will always come back here!

I have been to Houston numerous times, and I've never been to The Rouxpour for dinner. While I have really been missing out. We were a party of 4 who arrived at 1800 for dinner. We had no problem getting a table. The hostesses were very friendly. Our waitress was top notch, when I come back to Houston, I will definitely be sitting in her section again. If you visit this location, you will not go wrong sitting in Maria C section. We ordered two appetizers, and both were delicious. Our entrées were seasoned and prepared perfectly. We all left out pleasantly pleased about the overall dining experience.
