Went today just before 2pm. We came in after the lunch rush and ordered tostadas and a horchata. It was delicious! Our only wish was that there was cinnamon in the horchata, personal preference.

This place was amazing! Unfortunately I find it unlikely that I will ever be able to visit again, but if I lived nearby, I guarentee I would be a regular here. The portions are generous, the menu is full of options, the service was fantastic, and the food was absolutely delightful. We all left loosening our belts. Absolutely stop here if you can.

Fantastic. Salsa has a great flavor and was refilled promptly. Our waitress was new but did a great job answering our questions and keeping us happy. Large menu with something for everyone. Recommend the shrimps in aguachile for a zippy, sour appetizer. The pozole was excellent, and the mole is not too sweet, with a full, complex flavor. Looking forward to going back and trying different things.

Omgosh! This food was so fantastic. We will be back everytime we are in the area. The place is lively and clean and the staff is so friendly. The Garlic Shrimp is incredible. The salsa is much better than any place we have been to recently. Don't miss the opportunity for a great experience!

We came to visit Houston from Baton Rouge LA and made the best decision to stop here for dinner. It was BEYOND amazing. The food was the best Mexican food we've had in a very long time. Amazing flavor, HOMEMADE tortillas, drinks were fresh and delicious food! Our waitress and waiter we're so attentive and just plain awesome. Anytime we are in town we will be eating here for delicious, authentic Mexican good! We loved it!!!

We love going to El Chinampa ever since we discovered it headed home one time. Every dish we've gotten is always prepared fresh, big portions and very tasty. Don't miss out on Pozole & Menudo on the weekends. Service is very friendly and attentive. Also has happy hour!
