The service is amazing and the food is even better! The michelada is top notch! We enjoyed frog legs, oysters, the kids chicken nuggets and gumbo!

All seafood Mexican style. Loved their seafood gumbo. Mixed ceviche was a bit plain. Fried food was good. Too much of French fries. Pretty decent place as far as Mexican food restaurants go.

Our new favorite go-to place. After few months visiting it’s safe to say- food is always fresh and great. Oysters always look fresh and taste great, unlike some places- even Pappas who disappoint on presentation quite often.
Exploring the menu over time- not disappointed at all.

Great seafood establishment, I’ve tried all kinds of dishes and I have no complaints. The Mechilidas are very good here. The staff is great and attentive. The bathrooms are always clean at this casual place. The crab claws and fried dishes and French fries are delicious.

Food, drinks and service was on point. Ate here twice in 8 days and it did not disappoint. Nachos, quesadillas, margaritas AND GUMBO were so good!! My brother is a big fan of their raw oysters that they shuck in front of you. Will definitely return when back in HTX.

Went on 2 10 23 to new location, Freddie was our waiter, I had the seafood soup (whole reason we went, I was craving it) it was awesome as usual. Wife had the cancun (fried fish and shrimp and fries) with a side of hush puppies. Everything tasted great, including my cup of gumbo appetizer. Cajun roux, not tomato base..
Will definitely return. Service was fast and good. We arrived abut 6 20pm, done and gone bout 7 10...

Always the best service with a smile, best seafood in town. The new location is much bigger and the bar is absolutely beautiful. The oysters are always fresh and the food always great . Been eating here for 10 years and still great . I definitely recommend:
