Good food and good prices in an easy to overlook strip across the street from Kroger. I used to come here weekly if not biweekly when I lived much closer and it’s been a pleasure to see the place grow and change. Just wish he’d bring back the Californian with lightly fried chicken cause I really crave it on occasion but it’s all good on the menu so you can’t go wrong, even with a grilled Californian

Taqueria El Angel is WHERE ITS AT! I ordered the Torta de Texana and it was perfect. With fajita meat, quesillo, the usual fixins, and their house dressing it was amazing! The only way it could get better was when I added their salsa Verde. A perfect blend of explosive flavor and well-balanced spiciness. I could barely wait to eat it. And of course washed down with my favorite choice of drink, Agua de Piña. Definitely a favorite. .

I've been here almost every weekend over the past six months and the food has been consistently delicious. The service can be hit or miss, especially not being an fluent Spanish speaker. There's usually always someone there that speaks English. Their green Verde sauce is awesome, as well as the orange sauce. I usually always get the breakfast tacos and my girlfriend loves the breakfast plates. The tacos are also great. I have yet to try a torta, but will grab one soon. In short, super authentic and delicious food at an affordable price, way under what you'd pay at Torchys or Tacodeli. I keep coming back to Tortas El Angel.
