Hartz Chicken Buffet

I gave it 4 stars because we had to wait 15 minutes for more food to be prepared and after asking for wings it took so long we had almost finished eating but the main reason it to so long and I couldn't give it 5 🌟 was because the wings were overcooked ,the wings were cooked with the breast and that is to long for the wing,by that time they were dries out. Other than that it was good.

Let's get this started by saying I love me some Hartz The food is great it kinda like momma home cooking Now due to covid - 19 I can serve my self on the buffet line and I don't go to a buffet so ppl can tell me of serve me how to get I might want to sit down and eat just chicken or just chicken tenders no sides but I do not like people to serve me when I go to a buffet line that is the whole purpose of going up and getting what you want to eat so due to the fact it is not the same but I still remember pretty good piece of chicken some good chicken tenders and everything else on their Buffet line

Came for dine in, they're being safe and having a employee serve all food. Employee cleaned hands and used new gloves each time they came to the food station. Food is all fresh Not sure if it's the Manager or the owner but the guy running the place is on fire. Late in the day near closing when most people would be tired yet he's full of energy, greeting customers, checking them out giving them social distance info, cleaning the kitchen, running back and forth for drive through, offering to cook anything fresh from the back as well. Super nice too. I hope he reads this, because he's absolutely killing it.

For quite some time, I stopped going out to places such as, Popeyes, Church's, or Kentucky Fried Chicken for the out of code Chicken they serve at lunch time! Since moving back to Houston I started frying my own 🐔, Hartz at this location always have served fresh fried chicken unlike the ones mentioned above! So if you're in the Houston area and would like fresh fried chicken, I highly recommend this place to go to! ❤

This hidden gem is a complete delight. I've been eating here for almost two decades now and it has not disappointed. It leaves you with very vivid memories of shared moments. They provide delicious comfort food, especially perfect for a Sunday afternoon. The staff is always friendly and you leave with hopes of returning.
