My new favourite pub in Hove. Always a superb beer selection, all served at the right temperature and in a decent glass (no matter the size), lovely friendly staff and a relaxing place to be.
Seriously love this place! Great beers and a great selection of sausage rolls for meat eaters and veggies. Lovely warm staff too!
A must visit for any beer drinker, great hosts and great beer.
Probably the best micropub in Brighton and Hove! Super friendly staff and an excellent ever changing selection of 5 ales and 2 keg lines. Something for everyone, just don't tell everyone!! ππ»π

Less than minute walk from hove station. This is a blinding micro pub where you can sometimes meet the person who brewed the beer ! sausage rolls are the best. Walk past? No way !! But check opening hours...

We visited The Watchmakers Arms on Saturday Night.
Mulled cider was great so full of flavour and warming when it was -2 outside.
Great decoration throughout and also people playing boardgames inside. Very cosy and relaxed.
Even the toilet had its own character and was well decorated.
The only drawback for me was CARD ONLY :-( again another business that will loose a star for not accepting cash. Sadly we won't visit again die to card only policy π
But if you are OK with this it really is a great little bar.
Fantastic little craft beer pub with a lively atmosphere. Has a small but varied selection of craft beers and ciders. It's also fun looking at the random historic local memorabilia dotted around on the walls.
Really enjoyed my visit!

A great little pub with a nice vibe, cool decor and great drinks. We were drawn in by the Toads table and then didn't want to leave! I also spotted a well stocked shelf of other games, as well as a good amount of books to read while you sit and sip indefinitely. We'll be back ASAP.
Lovely little 'real' pub with a smallish but excellent range of ales and ciders plus some wines - they also do pizzas though I'm yet to try them. Used to come here few years ago when it first opened and on returning after a long time still seems just as good and well run which is a relief. It's very conveniently located for Hove station and the number 7 bus which means getting to it and from it is easy (less easy after a few ciders though I found). Excellent atmosphere and service as well - bear in mind it's popular so gets busy and because of its size not always easy to get a seat depending on the time. Highly recommended.
I did later on try the pizza - it was truly superb.
This wonderful proper pub doesn't serve food. They make it possible to order in and have priority-delivered amazing pizzas from Artisan local provider. Go here for the ambiance, for the wide and carried selection of craft and cask ales and ciders (prosecco if you must) and a music free place to chat and hang out. Will be returning here many more times. Excellent prices too.
It was a wet Saturday lunchtime, but the barman working was very friendly and welcoming. Our cockapoo was almost as happy with the dog treats as my hubby was with the selection of beers!
