Hove Place - Hove - Photo album

Pretty interesting pub located under some houses, surprisingly cool beer garden out the back. Cool sun trap, and because of the surrounding houses, is protected from the wind. Bar staff were friendly.
Came here for a Sunday Roast and was not disappointed. The Yorkshire puddings were absolutely huge! They benefit from a gorgeous outside space which is lovely when the sun's out, and the place has a really nice atmosphere in general. Been back a few times just for drinks but didn't hesitate to bring
Great Sunday roast and some nice dessert choices, plus the outdoor seating is very nice if the sun is out.
First time and definitely not the last one! Beautiful place with delish roast! Staff super attentive and knowledgeable. Birthday celebrations were fantastic 👏🏻 Dione were superb with organising the most beautiful table and took care of us through out the time there ! Can wait to come back again soon
Lovely bar hidden away. It's bigger than it looks and is like an Aladdin's cave. Great service, good atmosphere and music, but pricey. (£21.90 for two glasses of wine.) The main reason for four and not five stars is that the limited cocktails they do are canned! I'm sure they could make them fresh b
One of the prettiest pubs in Hove. The food is high quality and delicious. Good range of drinks. Both indoor and outdoor seating are lovely. Also dog friendly!
Great little spot, especially in the garden on a sunny day. Had food here once and it was a great menu and presentation surpassed my expectations. Would recommend at very least to come in for a beer, I believe they do cocktails also (I had a bloody Mary and it was basic at best).
The Sunday roast was amazing. I had the vegetarian Wellington, which was delicious, the biggest Yorkshire pudding, which was also delicious and the vegetables were done to perfection. They were very very busy and we had quite a long wait so they gave all 3 of us free desserts because of our wait tim
It's rare that I find a place that does so well that I can't think of what I'd do differently. And this place is one of those rare places 🤌🏽 The interior is super beautiful, wooden features are cosy, not to mention they have a fire place 🔥 Garden is quite lovely, especially in the sun! 🌞 The bagg
Went in to grab a drink before closing and the staff was kind and caring. They had an extensive menu of local ciders in stock and were super informative about the selection. The indoor decor is cozy and well maintained however the seating outback is breathtaking even in an English winter.
Very busy Sunday lunch. We got the last table for 'second sitting' at 2:30pm. Service was good but it was difficult for them to keep up with so many covers. Food was very good. Atmosphere a bit loud and squashed in.
Popped in here after work with a colleague for a quick bite. Ambience spot on, staff very friendly and super helpful. Food was delicious and very reasonably priced.
Venturing into Hove Place, newcomers might find the distinct, somewhat 'porky' aroma of the pub interior noticeable, but this feature adds to the authenticity of a venue that refuses to pretend to be anything but real. It's a nod to traditional pub culture, where the essence of hearty meals forms pa
The pub itself has a nice atmosphere but nothing special to be honest. The food we had for our Christmas party was average. Drinks are reasonable priced. WiFi connection is really poor in the back garden area. Toilets are tiny but clean.
Photo does not do the food justice. It was delicious but I was really hungry so photo wasn't priority. The roast dinner was amazing. I had turkey which is a festive special I think. They also have special autumn cocktails on at the moment. I had creme brulee for pudding with fresh baked shortbread.
A visit to Hove would not be complete without lunch at Hove Place. Conveniently open all day for food. It has a big outside space, great in summer and if you have pets as it's enclosed. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We started with a delicious charcuterie board of unusual cured and
Best Sunday Roast in Brighton
Visited with a group of friends for Sunday lunch. At £20 for a roast maybe my expectations were set high as I was a little underwhelmed. A lovely slice of rare beef and nice to be asked by the server our preference. They handled all the orders efficiently and cheerily. The veg was where it fell shor
