Hove Place - Hove - Photo album

Came here for a Sunday Roast and was not disappointed. The Yorkshire puddings were absolutely huge! They benefit from a gorgeous outside space which is lovely when the sun's out, and the place has a really nice atmosphere in general. Been back a few times just for drinks but didn't hesitate to bring
Venturing into Hove Place, newcomers might find the distinct, somewhat 'porky' aroma of the pub interior noticeable, but this feature adds to the authenticity of a venue that refuses to pretend to be anything but real. It's a nod to traditional pub culture, where the essence of hearty meals forms pa
Great little spot, especially in the garden on a sunny day. Had food here once and it was a great menu and presentation surpassed my expectations. Would recommend at very least to come in for a beer, I believe they do cocktails also (I had a bloody Mary and it was basic at best).
Pub is a lot bigger than it looks like from the outside ! It has a really nice garden in the back with heatlamps and a sheltered area alowing you to enjoy the outside area even if its colder. The staff was very warm and welcoming. I had a burger with chips which was perfectly cooked ! Would absolute
Lovely garden, easily accessed by pushchairs (only one step) and dog friendly. We were lucky to discover the pub on a walkabout Saturday, then returned Sunday evening for dinner. The food was excellent, and the staff were lovely - they also had good knowledge of allergens and were able to recommend
Great place for Sunday lunch sitting outside in the back garden, assuming fine weather. Substantial roast with lashings of gravy. What's not to like. Also sampled the fish finger sandwich. Satisfying
Had a vegan roast dinner in The Hove and it was fabulous. The roast potatoes were excellent and freshly cooked (no frozen ones in here) tasty vegan wellington with all the trimmings. Beautiful vegan chocolate tart for dessert. The food was worth every penny. The waitress however was so lovely. She k
What a lovely place, almost hidden away downstairs. Quirky but welcoming. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Food was delicious too. Can't wait till warmer weather to sample the gardens
It's rare that I find a place that does so well that I can't think of what I'd do differently. And this place is one of those rare places 🤌🏽 The interior is super beautiful, wooden features are cosy, not to mention they have a fire place 🔥 Garden is quite lovely, especially in the sun! 🌞 The bagg
Objective was to try the local brew from Harveys and we ended up here. Lovely pub hidden away from plain sight. Highlight is the garden at back at the back of the pub. the lady at the bar was a bit grumpy but she was swift and courteous and the taste of the drink from the local brewery made it a wor
Great garden for a sunny weekend drink. Didn’t book a table and was lucky to walk straight in and find one. The table ordered steak burgers, which the staff were happy to exchange as it was too rare for my liking. I gave 4 stars as it’s quite pricey and there wasn’t any music/ atmosphere.
Great little pub. Definitely worth going for the Sunday roast, it's the standout for food (although the chicken nuggets were particularly lush, as are the chunky chips).
Great roast good qtys and lovely flavour. Good atmosphere and particularly nice for good weather outdoor dining. Friendly service although seemed quite stretched, e.g. drinks came out after main meal arrived. Would recommend overall.
Food was bit pricey but good. Service was excellent. Sat in their really nice town garden. It's a bit quirky but I really like it here.
Great spot for a drink & loved the beer garden. We would of had a meal here but we had already eaten & only stubble across this place on our way back to our hotel. We will definitely go back when in the area for a meal.
A visit to Hove would not be complete without lunch at Hove Place. Conveniently open all day for food. It has a big outside space, great in summer and if you have pets as it's enclosed. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We started with a delicious charcuterie board of unusual cured and
Really nice modern wood paneled pub, out of the way between the main road through Hove and the sea. It has a beautiful garden and excellent food we had lobster linguine and I had rump steak. The desserts were the real treat, treacle tart with ice-cream and candied walnuts and a really good cheese bo
