Sugardough - Hove - Photo album

From the mismatched plates and the ancient sugar tongs, to the formation of flying ducks on a free scrap of wall the Sugardough bread and cake shop is a working bakery. An assembly of charity shop chairs and tables are shoe horned into a tiny shop front along with counter, displays, cooling trays pr
The best cake I've had this year! small cafe and on the pricy side for a tea and cake, but it was truly delicious. Beautiful tea blend with lots of choices. Quiche looks and smells incredible.
I love this place. The pastry’s are delicious and I’ll be making sure I visit every weekend before I relocate. I wish I had found this gem 5 years ago, when I moved to Brighton. Sad to see other people have experienced rude staff, they have always been pleasant when I have visited!
such a nice selection of cakes and bakery i’ve been here for the first time everything is freshly prepared and really tasty
Great hidden gem. Went after a sea swim today and sat in. Amazing pastries straight out of the oven. Loved being able to see the baking happening, feel the warm of the ovens and the delicious bakery smells. X
Driving past spotted this cafe/shop and dropped in. Very happy that I did. Great quality cakes, coffee and savouries. This company also run the Cafe at the Royal Pavilion and that was s spit-on pleasure to visit too. Well done folks. Good business.
Came across by accident as we walked into Brighton from Hove and were enticed by the trolleys full of pastries in the window. Popped in for a coffee and spotted all the lovely cakes. Great range pastries, cakes and bread. Would definitely recommend. My only regret is that I had to choose!
Sausage rolls and the mini quiche things are great. Almond croissants are probably the only sweet thing that are decent and the hot cross buns are pretty bangin. Coffee is not worth drinking and the bread is a bit dense for our liking. Overall bit expensive for what you get as there are better coffe
Second best Croissant in Brighton and Hove! A Parisian says it 🥸 All breads and Focaccias are freshly baked in store!! Arrive early 👍🏼
Delicious pastries and lovely service. A must visit when you're in Hove!
This is begining od my everytime in hove! Beloved team! The best almond croissants in the world! Love to you! ❤️
Delicious coffee and pastries! Amazing seeing everything lovingly made in small batches right in front of your eyes. Would highly recommend.
I'll echo the positive carrot cake related reviews! Best I've had in a while, and well presented. I won't lie, paying just shy of £4 unfortunately puts me off thinking of this as anymore than a 'very occasional' treat. It is a shame, but the cost seems in line with the current bakery trend.
