Loved this place. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. They made our visit very homely. So sad to see they've now sold their business to new owners. Would definitely miss this place whenever I visit Brighton :'(

Loved going here for the service! The lady (owner?) was always up for a friendly chat! Coffee and sausage rolls were excellent and I loved the daily specials.

As a visitor from Canada I would say if you are staying in Brighton and Hove take the time to search this fantastic place out. It’s a local favourite and for good reason. There is something to be said for good food, done well.

Having read on the web how good this was, we decided to pay a visit on 'Pulled Pork' Tuesday.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The food was excellent (we did indeed have the pulled pork) and the coffee was of a very high quality as well.
Highly recommended.
3 years on from the above review, I would give more stars if I could.

The Good Food Shop is friendly and welcoming : great variety of food, fresh ingredients, good coffee.... and it all comes with a smile and that personal touch you miss in so many other food places. Our group of 5 teachers from Austria felt at home there during our visit to Brighton, and we wish Sarah and her hard-working team the very best for the business. They certainly deserve it!
