We went there for dinner (twice already 😊), had a lovely time.
Sharing a bunch of starters is a great way to get to experience some of their exceptional dishes, before delving into the hearty mains.
My impression was that this is a crossover between a contemporary, fine dining experience - well rooted in authentic Greek cuisine.
Dishes are creative, beautifully plated and absolutely delicious!

It really took us back to being in Greece, especially with the gorgeous greek music that was playing!
The food was fresh and incredibly tasty. We had gigantes, seasonal vegetables, vegan moussaka, corn pitta with aubergine dip to share. Followed by orange pie for my partner and the vegan profiteroles for me on the most intriguing ceramic bowls that looked like large stones (see pictures). Truly delicious!
By far the best restaurant in Brighton and Hove!
Booked Nostos for Catering for all staff away day and I cannot recommend them enough. Catered for all dietary needs, huge selection, healthy and delicious. We will be booking them again this summer!
Food was excellent, I was very happy with my choices and so were my friends. The service was excellent, the staff very polite and helpful with our order as well as attentive without being annoying. The atmosphere felt very Greek, literally reminded me of my stay in Greece.
I don't often give 5 stars across the board but I do think between the food and the staff it is worthy
We ordered catering from Nostos for a birthday party and were very pleased. The food was very fresh and delicious despite the early start of the kids party. They catered for specific dietary requirements of our guests by creating a separate version of the dish. The communication was prompt, clear and professional which made this experience excellent. Would definitely recommend Notos for catering!

I had my birthday meal with my family here and it was perfect. The food was amazing, everyone loved their meal with plenty of vegetarian choices, and the staff were so lovely. The restaurant has a lovely vibe and I couldn’t have asked for more. Will definitely be back.
We have wanted to try this place for over a year and can’t believe we waited this long! The food was impeccable, real traditional Greek flavours. The lamb was juicy, tender, cooked to perfection. I cannot recommend more highly! We had the Greek salad, the moussaka, lamb side and the seasonal veg. Our waitress was lovely too :)
Wonderful tasty authentic Greek food. Reasonable price and excellent service and wine. Unfortunately not that busy which did affect the atmosphere slightly but meant staff were very nicely attentive!
Visited Nostos for lunch and wasn't disappointed. It's a nice little restaurant very light and airy. The person serving us was very friendly. They had a small kids menu which was nice as we wouldn't have been able to eat here if they didn't. The food was great & we all enjoyed our dishes. Between us we ordered:
Meatballs and chips (from the kids menu)
Taztiki and bread
Giaourtlou (meatballs in a tomato sauce with a yoghurt on bread) - starter
Back to the (Beet) root salad
Pork Suvlucky (Souvlaki)
As previously mentioned all the food was really tasty and the little one polished his off too. It all tasted fresh and left us full up but not in a gross was that you sometimes experience.
I Would recommend this restaurant and I imagine it's a really nice atmosphere in the evening.
The attractive seating outdoors in full sun drew us closer, unexpectedly surprising us with our favorite food. Greek!.
A celebratory Greek meal seeing my brother for the first time in two years! The Moussaka was absolute perfection in it's presentation and authentic taste! A substantial portion while being light, leaving room for stuffed vine leaves and salad. Beautifuly special stuffed vine leaves here and a Greek salad I wasn't expecting but appreciated in it's quality of taste. My brother enjoyed the soup of the
day. A selection of Greek beers and wines to compliment any meal.

Filipa and the Nostos team did a fantastic job of catering for our February 2024 Design Critique event. They came and setup the catering table, were great to work with, and provided amazing food. We look forward to the next time we work with them!
The restaurant owner is very friendly, the dining environment is very good, I like quiet places. The food was good, too, with octopus refreshingly served in an orange sauce and taro eggplant with minced pork. I'll go again if I have the chance!
This was our first time at Nostos although I have wanted to go for a while. They knew it was a special occasion for us and it was really lovely. The food is beautiful. Traditional Greek food but also less traditional or with a twist. We loved it, especially the gyro bao bun.. we will be back!

The servicing staff here couldn’t have been more helpful and attentive, the service was excellent, even down to full explanations about the dishes history. The food was delicious, so tender and cooked perfectly. A great range on the menu and good options on the specials. Would definitely recommend and will definitely go back!
We used the Nostos catering service for some canapes for our event. They were really delicious and looked great. The service was swift and helpful. We will definitely use them for a future event.
