One of our favourite day-out destinations! Great value pass for the Junior Farm! Wonderful produce available to buy at The Scrummy Pig shop! And lots, lots more! Highly recommend!
We visited twice over the 5 days we were in Norfolk. The food was amazing and we loved the afternoon tea. My girls also had lots of fun on the rides. Definately recommend visiting.
My nephew turned 3 today and as a farm animal lover it made sense that his birthday party would involve animals. The whole experience was fantastic. There was a room set up with a table and benches for the kids plus chairs and benches around the room for
The adults, everyone was given a few bags of food to take around the farm and had the chance to feed the calves and have cuddles with the 3 day old chicks and guinea pigs. The staff were all friendly and patient and were very informative. There was free face painting too!! After all the animal fun the children all got to enjoy a lovely buffet which really did have something for everyone and a visit from the "big sheep" who gave my nephew a £5 voucher to spend in the shop alongside a lot of cuddles and high fives with the kids (and some adults) finally all the children left with a free entry voucher to use on another day. The best part...no mess to clean up!!! Couldn't recommend this place higher for a children's birthday party, it was great fun and stress free and a really enjoyable experience. Thank you Wroxham Barns...you made a 3 year old very happy!!
A really nice day out. Lots to do for young children, staff are tremendously kind and patient. The food in the restaurant is good, tasty home cooked fare. We didn’t try their afternoon tea but they looked super!
My daughter wanted to actually give the junior farm and its staff more than 5 out of 5!! We went yesterday and despite it pouring with rain the staff on the junior farm were still full of smiles & so welcoming, we fitted in the calf feeding & the cuddles with guniea pigs & chickens, The girls running these sessions, especially Morgan were so informative & patient & spent ages answering mine & my daughters questions on guniea pigs it was great! We stopped for lunch in the restaurant too and the mushroom, cheese & ham toasts were delicious! Will def be coming back next time in area.
Just went to the restaurant for the first time and was really impressed. Great staff, the place was lovely and clean and things were tidied quickly after customer vacated tables plus the afternoon tea was great. We will definitely be back!
Lovely place to take the kids . Was a great day out. Definitely will be back. Plenty to do for the kids. Also in the cafe I chose to have the homemade soup. Tasted delicious .
Wroxham barns is a lovely place for all the family, a great way to spend a few hours and enjoying the Norfolk country side
Great place for a day out.Get wrapped up though.Kids really enjoyed it .Petting animals rabbits guinea pigs.Ponies don keys pigs goats alpacas.Lovely cafe with plenty of food to choose from.Sausage rolls and scones were lovely. Lovely gift shops.kids really loved picking and carving their pumpkins.I'd definitely return again.
I love the farm. Since they have included the rides in the day ticket this is a real value for money day out.
Lots of open space for picnics, mini golf and water bomb fights.
They even have a rainy day money back guarantee.
My girls (5 & 7) love the animal encounters too.
Wroxham Barns has stood since the '89s, thriving under superb management. It's impressive to witness its enduring vitality, hosting well-organized events that offer excellent value. Situated in Hoveton a great location easy to get to from Norwich. Nice to see Ian is still there at the helm…😁
We've had a lovely day sauntering around the craft shops looking at the beautiful products on sale. We bought some lovely Norfolk apple juice. A gift for my granddaughter and a beautiful jacket for myself. The only downside was a number of the shops were closed. There is lots of free parking. Toilets are clean and accessible. Dogs are allowed in some areas and there were plenty of dog drinking bowls dotted around. We ate scones, toasted teacake, flapjack and drank tea for two from the cafe and sat outside in the sunshine. You could take a picnic if you wanted. There is a fun park with rides for little ones and a farm (we didn't go into these facilities) it wasn't busy (end of September) we would recommend this to families with younger children.
Wonderful family day out. We booked online for the Junior farm and fun park.
£6.50 per adult and £6.50 ( 2 years and older)
£3.50 for 1 Year old ticket
There was a lovely confectionery shop that had really tasty Rum and Raise fudge, the coffee from the cafe was top notch lovely fresh Americano.
We were able to order pet feed online and we fed goats, sheep(of all different breeds) and alpacas. There are plenty of sessions throughout the day, we managed to be able to stroke Guinea Pigs, my photos have a list of events throughout the day.
There is a brilliant park with loads of fun attractions and rides that are common to a theme park but they are all included in your admission.
Staff are really helpful and nice there is a large array of local shops to buy things in and there is a mini golf course here too. The cafe has outdoor heated seating which is very spacious and clean
The toilets were clean and spacious with baby changing available. The car park is spacious and it is very easy to find on Google maps! SO MUCH TO DO I could have stayed all day. You can camp here too.
Went as a family and was a lovely visit. The animals were very happy here you can tell! I would advise to allow 2.5hrs for here. The shopping area wasn’t very busy, and I went into the Norfolk cider shop to make a purchase but nobody was inside or came in after we waited so left.
Loved this place, little piece of interest for all ages, fun park with rides, crazy golf plus more, a Maize Maze, animals, varied shops, gifts, clothes, charity shop, vintage shop, cafe. Plus such friendly staff (well done to staff recruitment) a little gem. Thankyou for a lovely day Wroxham
Superb Easter weekend day here. Full value for the £15 admission. Genuine feel, lovely animals, lots of involvement for the kids, plus eateries, shopping, and amusement Park for young children. Full value, you feel your money is going into something good, and your kids are enjoying and learning to respect animal life. Great deli too for shopping.
Selection of lovely independent shops with some gorgeous things for sale, vegan soap flower displays in the flower shop are just stunning and the crystal shop has some stunningly beautiful crystals available. Loads more shops with wonderful gifts etc for sale. A farm fir the kids to visit and a small amusement park to keep them happy as well. Definitely worth a visit and if your looking for a unique gift, this is the place to find it
We had coffee and scones, all very nice the coffee was excellent! Our visit was fairly early and the restaurant area was very cold. From experience normally fine in summer.
The food at meal times outstanding.
Visited both the junior farm and the fun park. A mini zoo where you can see goats, sheep, alpacas (we saw two), pigs, bunnies, tortoise, ponies and cows. There is a sheep maternity unit as well. Entrance fees £9.90 per person (adult and kids alike) under 1 y/o free of charge. Plenty of washing sink and hand soap facilities throughout the junior farm. You will have the opportunity to comb the ponies which is quite a fun experience for the kids. The fun park has exceeded my expectations, there are crazy golf, trains, jumping frogs, air bouncer, water balloon etc, for all ages of kids and adults alike. Spent 4 hours there, but expect a long queue during lunch hours in the cafe at weekends. Plenty of parking space and free of charge. Only that it is all pebble paths so will be slightly difficult for baby push chairs but not too bad.
Quite, out of season but most thing open. Good lunch in Courtyard cafe. Lovely clothes in Gallery. No charge for admission. Free parking. Clean toilets.
It’s a great place to visit for Christmas presents, and right now it’s easy to get to, easy to park and there’s hardly anyone around. The crowds weren’t there Tuesday afternoon. Check it out
We enjoyed our visit today. Cute little shops. Lovely cafe. My two children enjoyed riding the rides, crazy golf and feeling the animals. Lots to do for a little day out
Such a fantastic family day out. There was so much to see and the price of entry to the barns also included entry to the funfair at the back. No extra charges to play crazy golf or to go on the rides. We all had a great day out and I would highly recommend! The indoor play was great for little ones and there were changing facilities.
We had the best weekend, I wasn’t sure camping would be for us, but we had a fantastic time at Wroxham Barns camp site the facilities where superb and the staff were friendly and very helpful and there was so much for the kids to do from foam party’s to feeding the animals to the fun park and the maize maze the children where never board,
Great experience on a day out with kids.
Although we had our slot at 11.30am, we were happily let in at 11am as we reached early. We were there particularly for the pumpkin fest. Besides that, we enjoyed hen, goat and sheep feeding as well as in pony grooming. Also spent considerable time in kids play areas and pumpkin carving. We checked out at 4.30pm and it was perfect. I believe 4-5 hrs is the most decent time one can plan with kids, considering the lunch duration as well.
2 adults visiting. The craft shops, deli and cafe are all worth visiting and surprisingly good value. It's great to have them all on the one site. Wheelchair access throughout was much appreciated and well thought out. We look forward to visiting again next year.
