Top quality food. Good selection of sausage rolls and flat breads. Chorizo sausage roll are good. The sandwiches are great, big thick bread and lots of fillings. Huge selection of cakes and sweet treats. Often large queues during busy times especially to get seated for food. Prices are quite high but you pay for the quality.
What a lovely experience we had the food was tasty and well presented. The staff were all so welcoming and lovely we had a great waitress (Amy B) who continued to make us enjoy our lunch time checking on us to make sure we were ok. The wait time wasn’t bad for a Saturday lunch which was great 😊 can’t wait to try the rest of the menu

We shared the chicken satay noodle salad, and the chicken ceasar flatbread.
Both were delicious, so I can see why people were queuing to get a seat.
Our server was very friendly and welcoming.
The coffee was also as good as I've had.
There is just as big a queue for the cakes downstairs as you leave. My were they good.
We both said we would return to try some of the rest of the menu.
What a place. Called in for breakfast and would highly recommend it. The portion was massive and great value for money. All the food at the other tables looked fantastic too. Picture does not do it justice...
Had the afternoon tea which was excellent quality and judging by the food being served around me the rest of the menu just as good. Service was exemplary. Will be back to sample the wonderful cakes and savouries in the shop
Came here with two friends for a late birthday lunch. It was my first time eating here, and I'll definitely come back!
As it was a Saturday lunchtime, we had to queue for a table, but the wait was well worth it.
I thoroughly enjoyed my goats' cheese and roasted red pepper sandwich, while my friends loved the Sandwich of the Week: 'Scary Spice'.
Service was great, and we had a great time!
Love it here. The menu is fabulous!! The portions are big and beautiful! So much effort must go into the presentation. And if you can get past the cake counter without ordering something then you need a medal!
A must to visit although be prepared to queue a little. It's worth it though!

Wonderful food, we went for the sharing tapas style which we thought was lovely. Portion sizes are not for the feinthearted, Saved us having any tea. Highly recommended

Good service, excellent value for money. I always enjoy the ploughman's . Latte extra hot, not the look warm stuff as in many places.. enjoy every meal I have eaten here. Open Wednesday to Saturday.
Always love coming here for afternoon tea, it simply cannot be beaten! The food is always delicious and fresh, and the staff are wonderful and friendly. Can’t wait to come back!

Poorly ran but the staff were lovely and the food was amazing.
Even though it was a Saturday, I was not expecting to have to wait just over an hour for a table without being given a menu or a bench or something to sit on. When we got to our table there were not any physical menus or even a QR code one so you had to physically get up and walk around the tables to see the menus on the large chalk boards. With it being my first visit I am not sure if that was a temporary thing or not. However, it felt really imposing to the people sat at the tables underneath the boards.
I also could not see any where that would make the seating area accessible for wheel chair users or people with prams but I might be wrong.
For the food, the portions were generous and tasted great. Me and my friend ordered the burgers and you could tell that they are made with quality ingredients. We left extremely full and the waitress was very obliging with a takeout box for left overs.
Overall it was a really nice experience and I think the waiting time is something that is forgiven because of how nice the food is. Maybe keep in mind the accessibility if it’s your first visit?
Wow, what an amazing find…the rolls (sorry I’m a southerner) particularly the BLT was fantastic. The cakes were the best I’ve seen, could have spent all day in deciding which one to pick, but eventually we selected the Eclair…and we were not let down. Cannot wait to visit again.
Lovely cafe with lovely home made cakes and savouries. The afternoon tea was lovely with a lemon meringue pie to die for. Not the chemical lemon variety. Great friendly staff and box offered to take away uneaten cakes

Very popular, busy place to eat. There is a queueing system in place but it works very well with not much waiting. Food/menu is excellent & staff are very good. Try it out, you will not be disappointed 👍
This place is fantastic. So cute, and the food is delicious. Really busy and doesn't take reservations so arrive early or be ready to wait. I promise it's worth it. I highly recommend the picnic table.
