Our biggest disappointment.. is that we do not live close by, 3 hours’ drive away. This is our second time to Lorenzos as staying in Howden for work again. Most defiantly they do not disappoint. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, the food is authentic and hands down the best Italian food in the UK. The owners take pride in training their staff and being there to ensure all runs as wonderfully as it does. Amazing food, amazing staff at very fair and reasonable prices (3 pre drinks, bottle of wine, starter to share and two mains for £80)… Oh and I challenge you to find dust, dirt or a sticky patch, the whole place is immaculately clean.

Probably the best calzone i have ever had - tried all 4 options and each are top notch.
Its a cracking place - advisable to book weekend wise but mid week fine - good selection of beers and you are always made to feel welcome.

A lovely gem of a place, newly refurbished to a high standard.
Food 5* and accommodated all our food intolerances, excellent service, added bonus of live music. Only wish music was on for longer and the outdoor seating had some cushions.

Went here a few nights ago after reading the great reviews.
We were certainly not disappointed,the place is a lovely little gem and is cosily laid out.
The two girls behind the bar were very welcoming and attentive and suggested some items on the menu we might want to try.
The food was lovely and fresh not the usual heated up frozen rubbish,and the portion were great too
We really enjoyed our evening and plan to return here again soon.

A beautiful restaurant in a beautiful location with a wonderful menu serving the finest pizza. Was with a party of 6 on Saturday and I was overwhelmed with this lovely venue. Outstanding service from a lovely welcoming professional team . I went for the special Pizza of the day and it was by far the very best I had eaten, ever. It was a good size but finished the lot. A great selection of starters for all tastes and plentiful sides such as salads and chips. Already looking forward to my next visit.

Visited with my 3 children today. We all had lovely starters and mains. My son described his pizza as the best base and crust he has ever tasted. We all enjoyed our meals, the service is prompt and very friendly. The garden area is lovely, i imagine even better when the weather gets a little warmer. Excellent staff and venue, we will definitely be returning!!!
