Food is top quality.have been going to the curry garden for many years and have never been disappointed,staff are very friendly, very good value for money,you can take your own dinnks,well worth a visit,booking advisable,even mid week,just in case there is a party going on,,
Best Curry in the Northwest (and i have been to a few). Been twice in two weeks after reading numerous reviews, and each time the food and service has been excellent. The portions are large (struggle to eat a starter and main), and the food is fresh and excellent quality. The food is also very good vaule for money with the average main meal costing £5.95, and what you can't finish they will bag up for you to take home for the next day (hard times).
Make sure you book, as after 7pm on a friday/saturday you may struggle to get a seat. On both occassions I have seen people turned away as its only a small venue.
Another plus is you can take your own beer and wine. If your forget then the co-op is about 400 yards away.
Tasty curry everytime we visit and a genuine variety from mild and fruity to scorching depending on preference. Recommended for all but be warned it can get busy round tea time.
My favourite Indian resturant. My only complaint is that it is a bit small - I don't often see them opening the upstairs for more people. Having said that we normally go too early to see any rush!
Probably the best Indian restaurant I've been to. And I've been to quite a few over the years! Consistently high quality and wonderful staff.
I love this place, amazing food and service.. 5* I even got a Christmas card with the bill.! Fabulous ;) definitely going there again! X x
