Based on Terry Pratchett's pub in Ankh Morpork, The Mended Drum was a must visit for me. A local pub serving great food, lovely people sprinkled with a touch of style.

First time in the Mended Drum and it's safe to say I'd happily return. The burgers are delicious and you have the option to upgrade to dirty fries which will have you leaving stuffed. Well worth a visit!

Great food and beer. My first time here and it was great. Quick service. I had the chicken Kiev fries and WOW, they were amazing! So filling, I could barely eat half so they gave me a box to take the rest home. I highly recommend!

Tasty and well cooked burgers. The chips were chunky and fluffy inside. Chips were hot right until the last bite. Friendly staff and pretty pub interior. I'd visit again.

We came here before the main food was served on Sunday, the hospitality was exceptional, we were made to feel safe and welcome. Completely covid safety friendly and the staff could not accommodate us any more. We asked for nachos when it was piza only service but the staff went out of their way to.a
My husband and I dined here for my birthday dinner (mostly enticed by the name of the pub) and everything was brilliant. It was quite a long wait but as I understand it, the kitchen is rather small, but it was worth it. Husband said his burger was one of the best he's ever had. My Moroccan vegetable
Really lovely pub, great beer and a good selection of Larger for those who prefer this. Country pub but friendly and welcoming, if you want food booking is essential and we are told quality. Something for everyone including the four legged variety. Fantastic outside sapce as well.
Formerly the Star. Excellent choice of real ales and a great menu if you're feeling a bit peckish. Not far from the New Inn (about a 5 min walk).
Food is always amazing. Sometimes the service is slow, but on the whole, the wait is not bad and the food is definitely the best vegan food ive ever had while out! Go relatively often and the quality is always 100%. Fully recommended :-)
