Always a queue for Dixons milk ices, but the ice creams are well worth waiting for in the queue. Many flavours to choose from. Cones or tubs available. Very clean place, staff are always busy serving, very polite too. Love this place. I recommend you go here.
Extremely clean and hygienic shop. Gorgeous fresh original Dixons ice cream with fresh crisp wafers/cones and original delicious strawberry juice in plenty full. Always consistently scrumptious. My childhood! One thing I hate is the longggg cue which curves up the street during summer. Other than that I may be biased but best Ice cream ever! We used to walk down from school count our change and get the biggest order back home it's just a shame everything is expensive now. Best thing to do
Love Dixons but noticed they've changed the tubs and also made the portions smaller. I would be happy to pay a little extra and have the usual portion size.
Love the original icecream and the mango, cinder toffee, strawberry flavours
After moving to Huddersfield we first tried Dixon ice-cream from a ice-cream van at the park and since then we are hooked. Later found the Dixon's Lockwood store and tried many flavours and all the flavours are excellent. Next time if you are in Huddersfield you should try Dixon
Friendly staff and the best tasting ice cream ever. Don't even live in Huddersfield anymore. Came from Germany and this was on the list of places I just HAVE TO VISIT!!!
The best ice cream you will ever taste... Unfortunately one of the staff just didn't have a clue and didn't particularly seem interested in his job!!

It's so lovely to be able to come back to visit Huddersfield and find that Dixon's Ice Cream is still going strong in Lockwood, even better to find that it's vanilla ice cream hasn't changed one jot and still tastes as special as it did when we would take the walk to get a tub from Newsome to Lockwo
The best ice cream if you visit West Yorkshire. Always been my favourite from childhood. Visit regularly. More shops in surrounding area now. Well worth a visit
