Been coming here for years and as always, I was provided with excellent service from all members of staff who were extremely attentive and quick. Food was delicious as always, couldn’t fault any part of the meal it was all outstanding. My friend came for the first time and said it was the tastiest curry he’s had!

The food was really good.
They wasn't a lot of meat (lamb) in my curry but the flavours were spot on.
The chapatis were lovely as well.
This is a bring your own alcohol if you want a drink, restaurant

I just want to say how much I have been impressed by the food, staff and atmosphere at Sharma’s this evening. We came to Huddersfield, from Middlesbrough, to spend the weekend with friends for my partners birthday and chose to come to this restaurant, with our friends, on their recommendation. It was the perfect recommendation, we were certainly not disappointed.
The welcome we received when we arrived was wonderful and the restaurant was immaculate and very comfortable. The staff made you feel so special and were polite and friendly and couldn’t do enough for us.
The food was so tasty and perfectly cooked and presented really well. The meat was tender and succulent and just yummy. Then to top off the wonderful experience my partner was given a wonderful desert with a sparkler in it to celebrate his birthday, which made the evening even more special.
I could not recommend this restaurant enough.
A fantastic night, amazing food along with good company made a very special evening. Thank you everyone.

Great place to eat. I do not drink, but on a recent business dinner, my guests wanted an ice cold beer to enjoy with the delicious grub. It is a pity that alcohol is not served here.

Great food, had a lovely meal here tonight. First time at Shama in a couple of years, and pleased to say that nothing has changed in terms of an authentic experience. Enjoyed a great meal for two the food is tasty and full of authentic flavours and delicious we will definitely be back.

Best restuarant in Kirklees! Don't be put off by area. It's easy to overlook it because it's in Fartown, but please give it a try because you wont be disapointed. Inside it's huge. Very clean and tastefully decorated with ornate pieces set in beautiful alcoves. Waiting area quite large with comfy seating. Spacious and opportunity to dine in private 'corners'. Food top quality and very tasty. My husband is fussy and says they create dishes with the best flavour. Service excellent. All staff are attentative and friendly. They were very gracious with a drunk customer who was trying to cause trouble - handled them professionally and are courteous to everyone. Lastly, the prices are very reasonable. Well worth a visit, even if you are an area snob - this restuarant is a credit to Fartown and if they continue their great service and food, they'll be around for many years to come.

We come to sharma regularly and the food is always spot on. The service is Fantastic and the staff are really polite and friendly especially Zia. He can’t do enough for you. 100% recommend.

Marvelous. A bit "Crackers"🤣🎄 due to it being Christmas Day, but the food, service and value for money was spot on. Six of us altogether and everyone enjoyed it.

Fabulous food at a reasonable price. The staff are amazing and cant do enough for you!! I come here fairly regularly and have never had bad food or service. Definately worth a visit!!!
