This is a a very unique Curry experience in Huddersfield. The food is delicious and you have to try the Mo Mo's to start!! We were a party of 9. We we greeted and hosted with wonderful staff who are helpful patient and above all else full of smiles.
Not my 1st visit here and will always be going back!

It was rainy day. Me and MY friend went to this restaurant when we go inside the atmosphere was very good fill with melodious music with warm environment and the outdoor staff welcome us with lovely smile, they took us on the table and described about the menu and the price of restaurant was good better than other restaurants who overcharged ,despite the restaurant was very busy there were two staff and they handled very well . We took very famous Gurkha beer as a drink and we had momo as a starter and mix sizzler as a main dish. This was worth it to eat. I suggest every one to eat and definitely visiting again.

Gurka Sizzler is a small restaurant close to the Huddersfield bus station. Parking is in the paid car parks adjacent to the restaurant. Under new management the food quality has not suffered. The menu and style of cooking is based on the north west traditions of India. Some vegetables seem as if they were frozen prior to cooking rather than from fresh. The spices are well rounded without excessive use of chillies. Prices are of the order of £20 per head but rise with alcoholic drinks. There is a desserts menu but these are mostly cold and again based on traditional sweets. For those who don't want to challange their palate there is a limited english menu including for children. Take away and home delivery options are available.
