We popped in this evening as we were passing and decided to get a bite to eat. From a classic pub menu, we choose pie and chips and burger and chips. Both were home cooked, fresh and hearty. Extremely helpful, polite and friendly staff . They were so welcoming , even my friend's dog got a fresh water dish and dog treats. We asked for a sandwich , despite them not being on the menu and they happily obliged . The pub was also clean and pleasant to sit in so yes, it's worth a visit .

We only called for a couple of drinks but it was a very nice place. We used to go before when it was the crossroads. It shut down and has reopened as the toss o'coin. We will definitely go back and see what the food is like as the people were very friendly.
