We found this pub by accident! We came on the day it reopened and the food was perfect so good we went back twice! Service was perfect as well
Lived in the village 20 years. The pubs had its ups and downs and Im glad to say its really on the up. Food was great, fresh, and well prepared, reasonably priced with no issues. Tuna was fresh and delicious and the sides were lovely. Great to see the place lively.
Under new ownership so updating my review as I ate here with my family on 05/10/23. Chef clearly knows what he is doing and the food is excellent and imaginative. The staff are very good and have been trained well. It's now well worth a visit
I had the ocean hanging kebab and my guest had the chicken kebab both came with flatbread 2 dips and fries, complimented by a New Zealand sauvignon blanc, very polite and attentive service the bill with an extra 2 glasses of wine came to just under £80.
Good food but what really elevates this pub to 5 stars is the staff and the warm welcome you receive. Polite and all with a smile on their faces.
Amazing service and amazing food! The food is so fresh and filling. All the staff are lovely and welcoming.

Pleasantly surprised by this place. The decor was as you'd expect in terms of style but looked like it's just been fitted. The service was good. The food was tasty and well priced. Went mid week so it was very quiet, hopefully it gets busier at the weekends.
Now under new ownership. The food was delicious! Highly recommend!
So this is the second time we have visited. The first was one week ago, for Sunday dinner. I'm not usually a big fan of pub Sunday dinners. However this was fantastic. The choice and quality, was truly amazing. Plus a sub section, for people like myself. Who don't wish to partake with the Sunday lun

Food lovely, plenty of outdoor space! And staff friendly
Food was nice but we had to wait a while as they were busy in the kitchen but we didn't mind and they kept us informed. The small fish and chips was a good portion for the price and very nice. The ceasar salad was amazing with lots of big bits of chicken. The fish pie was ok but the dish it was in w
