Found this little gem of a place. It's absolutely stunning, and the staff are lovely and welcoming. Dog friendly, so r phoebe was happy being inside. We had pork belly Sunday roast and it was truly amazing. We'll worth a visit. Loved it. Thank you all. XOXO

Called in for a midweek lunch. It was fairly quiet and we could not have been made more welcome. Had the special menu and it was v.good indeed. Great beer, food and hospitality.

Went in for first time since new ownership today.
We did love it previously, however its now on another level of good

Usually just a 'pop in for a drink' type pub. However, now under new ownership and what a fantastic turnaround.
Food was delicious, fresh, reasonably priced and really well presented.
Great service, all staff really friendly and professional. Not a grumpy face in sight!
Nice and clean, and lovely decor.
Definitely worth a visit.

Three of us had dinner here on Christmas Eve and what a wonderful experience it has been.
The atmosphere was welcoming and cozy, the staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive and the food was delicious.
We ordered from the festive set menu which has been thoughtfully designed to please everyone.
The presentation and taste of each and every dish were excellent.
This was our first time at The Forresters Arms but definitely not the last as we can’t wait to revisit in the new year.

Had lunch today with a friend. We ate front the set lunch menu. The soup was exceptional and as good as homemade. Main courses were lovely my friend had the steak which she said was perfectly cooked. Staff were friendly and attentive, not too busy being Tuesday but still a nice atmosphere. Overall an experience to repeat.
