Update:sept 23. The best just got better, the beef and the fish, as walk-ins (didn't book) amazing. The beef was perfect, the fish cooked to perfection. These guys know how to cook. Really good traditional pub food, nice atmosphere, this is more of an eatery than a pub as the bar area is small.

Popped in for a bite to eat with family last minute. The food was great and the service was excellent. 3 of us had the Pizzas and we would recommend them and the Garlic Chicken was lovely. Will be going back again to try some more of the Pizzas 🍕 😋

Only called by for a couple of pints, because we were outside with our pony and carriage. Served well by the new barperson.

I love the top quality food served here, really enjoy the Sunday Lunch which is excellent value for money. Will be back many more times.

Bit old fashioned and limited veggie food but the goats cheese tart was delicious. The veg and potatoes that comes with it though a little boring and plain. But fine if you like that kind of thing. They weren't over cooked which was good. The old fashioned puddings were a hit with my family and yum

They are open and are as good as ever. The food in this pub is amazing. Everything on the menu is so well prepared and tasty. Your only problem is what to choose: the pork, the beef or perhaps the chicken ( my personal favourite). If you only want a light snack try the hot beef sandwich or my husban

Fantastic place for Sunday lunch, great staff and excellent menu. One of our absolute fave places for a relaxing afternoon. We have been quite a few times now and we plan to go again.

Fabulous food. Good service. And if you have allergies, it's amazing. I have 7 allergies, and it was all labelled on the menu and there was sooo many options and choices. The chef even came out and spoke to us to ensure my food was safe to eat. Lovely evening out!!!

Visited many times & never disappointed. Food delicious, & superb place for anyone wanting a good meal but requires a gluten free option. Staff extremely friendly, & often the chef himself comes to ask if you were happy with the meal. Can't rate it highly enough. My partner always says the Wainwrigh
