Humpit The Hummus & Pita Bar

This is one of the best vegan places in Huddersfield! It's a place I highly recommend you visit! The prices are really good, there is a variety of items you can order and the staff is friendly. There is a friendly atmosphere with music playing in the background too. I came here for lunch and ordered the following items for dine in: Homemade Lemonade Spicy Kebab Sweet Potato Fries Mixed Salad Starting off with the lemonade, after ordering, the lemonade was served after a few minutes. I really liked the lemonade, it was sweet and refreshing. Moving on to the meal itself, the kebab, fries and salad all arrived together after approximately 20 minutes. The kebab was 100% plant based and was full of fresh ingredients. As someone who isn't vegan, the plant based 'meat' was great. It had a good texture and a density similar to chicken. Although it could have been spicier, it was full of flavour and was a good portion size. The spicy kebab cost me £7. (£6 if you were to takeout) The sweet potato fries were good too, the portion size for the price of £1.80, was really good. Although, they were quite soft and I expected them to be a bit crispier. The mixed salad was also a good portion size and also only cost £1.80 (£1.50 for takeout). It was fresh and had a variety of ingredients from chickpeas to chopped tomato and cucumber. Then for takeout I got the lotus rocky road. This was delightful. It only cost me £2 too which I find to be reasonable. The entire meal cost me around £15 which I think is well worth it! Next time I visit I will hopefully try the filled pita! Overall, you should definitely visit this place if you want to try some good quality, flavourful vegan food.

Some of the tastiest take away food I have ever eaten! Love, love loved the filled pitta and don’t get me started on how good the brownies are! The team here are lovely, working last week in crazy temperatures but always with a smile on their faces. Keep up the good work Humpit Hudds, cannot wait for my next visit 😊

Really enjoyed my lunch here after stumbling upon it.. Great falafel/pitas, superb to find vegan donuts! Service was very good, super friendly welcoming team. Will certainly be back..

The food is great. I can only go on a Wednesday when it is only £2.75 for a filled pitta if there are two people sharing the offer. The staff have a habit of not listening to orders fully, but there still learning so you can't get mad.
